Fantastic experience!
Very easy to learn the e-bike! I was very worried about that but it was not a problem at all. Great way to escape the crowds in town and see some outlying areas! Steve is a great guide and a great source of information!

HIGHLIGHT of our trip 🩷
INCREDIBLE experience. Wholeheartedly enjoyed our ride with Stephen. He was so friendly & knowledgeable about the area. We were entertained the entire time. Treated us to some spontaneous adventures & showed us places we could have never found on our own. Fully recommend this experience to anyone looking for a beautiful, personalized tour. (The bikes were very easy to operate & I never broke a sweat!)

An Amazing Tour!
This e-bike tour was a highlight of our trip! Stephen was an incredible guide—so personable, fun, and easy to connect with that we genuinely considered inviting him to lunch after. He kept us safe and comfortable with waters, safety tips, and a first aid kit, while also sharing amazing history, local events, festivals, and nightlife recommendations. The ride itself was smooth and the bikes were plenty powerful. Truly a great experience!

Best Bike Tour in Portugal
The Cascais bike tour was spectacular and included a wonderful guide named Stephen Baldwin, a transplanted Londoner to Portugal who runs the ebike touring in Cascais area. One of the nicest, caring persons I've ever met. The tour itself could not be better: tailored very well to the client's needs and desires. Good, solid equipment, a great tour (beauty, history, as much excitement as you wish), plus a personal and social good time at the end at the local pastry shop! After 20 bike tours all over Europe, this one was tie-high! Five Stars. Bruce and Anne, San Antonio Texas (We also recommend the Seven Hills of Lisbon for hard, exciting city adventurers).

Comfortable ride around interesting places!
I went there with colleagues (10 ppl) who wanted to see a bit more of Cascais. The bikes were comfortable and just powerful enough so that you could enjoy the ride. Stephen was a great guide, had interesting things to say about the area and he is just such a pleasant person. Everyone was super happy with the experience!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cascais Coastal EBike Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cascais.
How much does Cascais Coastal EBike Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cascais usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cascais Coastal EBike Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cascais is not rushed.
Is Cascais Coastal EBike Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cascais, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cascais Coastal EBike Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cascais Coastal EBike Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cascais Coastal EBike Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cascais can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cascais and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cascais Coastal EBike Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cascais within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cascais?
+
On Outty we rank every Cascais experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Surf Experience in Cascais, Best of Sintra Private Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup, E-bike in the backroads of Cascais and Sintra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cascais?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cascais?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
