Would give 6 stars if possible!
Mohamad was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Also very accommodating in terms of schedule and wants/needs from the tour. The tour is basically like having an old friend in Casablanca that is showing you around. Would give 6 stars if possible. He's also multi-lingual, and his English is excellent. Don't think twice about booking this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Gil! I very much enjoyed your company and I hope you're having a great tour of Morocco. I wish you all the best. Mohamed

Poor communication
Made booking, tour asked to delay. I then rescheduled two days later and was then advised he wasn't available for 4 days. Messaged for a refund and no reply. I recommend you look elsewhere
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback; I wasn't able to deliver the tour due to illness; Tripadvisor Support team confirmed that you received a full refund.

Felt like we were with family
Our first evening in Casablanca was spent with Mohammed, an amazing guide who showed us many sights and tastes in the local area. Our tour was filled with historical and cultural facts worth telling when relating to the city’s composition, people and influences as we saw them. We visited two of the city’s squares, the Medina including Bab Marrakech, the seaside port with its view of the walled city and fortresses with cannons. We sampled Morocco’s best tastes from local vendors and dined at La Squala where we listened to a Moroccan band and ate a fabulous meal. Mohammed’s English was impeccably spoken, and he was insightful company! We felt like we were with family. Amazing experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much William! I had a great time with you and I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. I wish you all the best. Mohamed

Casablanca walking tour
Mohammed was a great tour guide, very difficult to do a food tour in Ramadan He was very informative and a really nice man who was happy to talk about all aspects of Morocco and Islam. He showed us all the markets and cultural buildings along the way. He even gave us a lift back to our apartment. His English was very good having studied for a while in London. His communications via WhatsApp were excellent and he was very punctual and found us straight away I highly recommend this tour
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the great review and for the feedback! I had a great time with you in Casablanca! I wish you all the best. Mohamed

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Casablanca Food Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.
How much does Casablanca Food Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Casablanca Food Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.
Is Casablanca Food Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Casablanca Food Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Casablanca Food Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Casablanca Food Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Casablanca Food Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Casablanca?
+
On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Hassan II Mosque and City Highlights Tour, Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Casablanca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Casablanca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
