Beautiful day in a hotel with private beach. Wonderful day in a beautiful place 🤩

As our last day we went to Sabai on the island of Baru by boat! It was magnificent 😍 The boat was new and well maintained, we were in the shade. Comparing another trip we did by boat, we could see that the driver had a lot of experience and the ride was relaxed despite the waves. The guide Maria was nice and spoke good English. Arriving on the island we had a bed of our own under the trees or a parasol. We had towels that we could change if needed. We were a group of around 30 and we had our own corner of the beach. It was very peaceful. We had an a la carte meal. It was so delicious 😍 he took the menu for the extra drinks! We also went kayaking. It had a very large, very clean and beautiful swimming pool on the edge of the beach. The only negative thing I can say is that the beach has corals and shells on the edge and a bit of seaweed. So bring water shoes. I asked the company a lot of questions via WhatsApp and always had fast service :)

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Cartagena?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cartagena?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cartagena?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
