Pleasant free visit
The necropolis is easily accessible, the site is well maintained and preserved, the explanations are clear and sufficient. There was no one qd we came. Winded great!

It's worth doing.
The visit is worth it.The well-preserved and well-kept necropolis surprises.Good visit and detailed by the old town of Carmona. And the best of all guide Henry of Vandalia. It gathers the best that can be asked of a good guide: professional, documented, adequate information without falling into vulgarities or pedantries.

Visit to the Roman Necropolis
The whole village is monumental and typically Andalusian. On the one hand walls, churches and other monuments and on the other the narrow streets and white houses and also stately palaces.

What was supposed to be a great family trip to the Necropolis of Carmona
Booking: 1181907364 Booking reference: 785823474 We would meet the guide at 11. But around 9U30 on our way to Carmona (coming from Constantina which is approx. a 45 min. drive) our car broke down and needed to be towed to a local garage. I immediately contacted Andalusia Tour Travel (our contact mentioned in the booking confirmation) to ask what could be our options and if we could set the tour on another date without asking for a refund or cancelling our booking. In a very non-helpful(actualy rude and blunt way) I was told that it was not their problem that the car broke down and that we should take a bus!! I booked this trip for 6 people coming down to a respectful amount of 145 euros. That afternoon I contacted the Viator helpdesk via chat, hoping that they might find a way to do this interesting tour without waisting 145 euro's After typing down the problem giving all the booking details, I never received any feedback whatsoever..up until this day (4 days later) I waited for almost half an hour hoping to have some reaction at least, but nothing happened. I saved the transcript on my laptop. I do not need to explain that I am very disappointed.. At least the local guide from Carmone phoned me to ask if everything was OK. Lesson learned, it is better to check and deal with locals, they DO care and value their customers. –
Response from the operator: Dear Nancy, We regret your unfortunate incident with the car but you must understand that we contracted a guide exclusively for her guided tour which is a high cost to us for his service that day; for this reason we are forced not to refund you. We understand your assessment for the incident generated with your car but it is not an assessment in accordance with the service of our guided tour. We regret your incident with the car. We always care and value our customers. Regards.

Not what we expected.
The day started nervously as we were staying in Seville, and when we booked the tour (months ago) the meeting point was listed as Necropolis main gate, Street name, Carmona, Seville. However we soon discovered that Carmona was about 35km from Seville. So, some frantic research, and we found that we can catch the bus to Carmona. On Arrival in Carmona, we found our Guide who informed us that the rules had changed and we could not visit the Necropolis, nor could we go into the Colosseum opposite. But our Guide Luis, informed us that we would go through the town and look at the Fortress and the mines. Well, what a tour it turned out to be. It was informative with beautiful views and left us excited about what we had chose. It gave us a fantastic insight about Carmona and we would certainly encourage others to do this tour.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.
How much does Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $101 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.
Is Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Carmona Roman Necropolis and History Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
