Worse boat tour of my life

Worse boat tour of my life. If I could I would of given -1 for this Capri tour. I’ve been to many boat tours in many countries: France, Croatia, Egypt, Thailand and so on, but NEVER had such bad and unsafe experience. I was really looking forward for this tour as well, but was extremely disappointed and feel like it was a waste of my and my partners day. 1. no time understanding, everything was late and not organised. Boat was cleaned on our arrival (first red flag) 2. 12 people on a small boat (including captain) which was not maintained at all, with the most filthiest toilet I’ve ever seen 3. No safety introduction, any introduction, captan did not speak any English and no life jackets 4. Plan did not follow through, due to all delays 40 min less on Capri and no Sorrento walk 5. No guide to tell us anything during our tour or guide us 6. No food on a full day trip 1. we waited 30 min for our bus driver who had empty bus and when I was calling the organisers I was told “people are late”. it took us 2 hours to get to the port, when we said to the organisers let us come on our own car, but they said no to us. When we arrived at the port there was a lot of confusion where to go, after we found the boat it was getting cleaned during our boarding 2. Our boat capacity was around 5-8 people max, we had 12 people including captain. It was going very slow and sound was not right ( my partner has boat licence and he knows a lot about boats so this is legit information). Boat was dirty with a lot of damage. Toilet looked worse than in India’s train station and we could not use it, no flash ether. 3. When we got on a boat the organiser took a picture of us and didn’t tell us anything, no safety instructions, no here is life jackets, no water or telling us where it is. Just “bye have fun”. Our captain did not speak a word of English and we had two people (one was sea sick, other person damaged her food) he couldn’t understand us and couldn’t help. It’s EXTREMELY bad if organisations to put him and us in this dangerous situation. If something terrible would have happened he wouldn’t be able to help as he couldn’t speak English and there was never a tour guide. 4. Due to all delays including waiting 1 hour near capri due to “boat traffic” which is not true boats were going in and out as they had booked their slot. We waited for 60 minutes to get to the island from the “traffic”. Had less time on the island, also no sorrento walk, no one even said sorry or commented on it. 5. Other boats had tour guides who would tell stories, jokers, SPEAK ENGLISH and set the vibe. Our boat had a dead vibe with a half broken radio and no radio on the way back with a captan who couldn’t tell us anything. 6. I’ve never been on a FULL DAY tour with no food. We had ONE bottle of Prosecco or what ever it was for 11 people!!! I didn’t even touch it as it was an insult to offer 50ml of a drink in a dirty cup. We were offered pack of crisps and some soft drinks. After we would go down and get water or soft drink ourselves. After all of that we had to also wait to be picked up from the boat for another 20 minutes. I’m honestly shocked with organisers and this entire experience. Do NOT book with them.

    Vico Equense and Capri

a nice day at sea and nice to see a downpour in the Marina Piccola (it had not rained for two months). The tour also includes a stop in Capri of about three hours, crowded in August, but certainly very particular. The clean boat, the captain and the nice girl. The highlight is the Agency owner's Ford with Neapolitan music. If you go to Vico Equense and surroundings, book tours with this agency! The Tuscan couple Life is beautiful

    Good

Capri and 'beautiful, but like Amalfi and Positano another trip made with sixth continent, Maurizio friendly and helpful only thing in our opinion to improve, less time at sea but more time to visit these pearls that Campania offers.

    Can‘t recommend

Well overnight tours in Englisch and Italina, but don‘t understand the word lifejacket. One Top offering boat tours also for kids from 0year s onwards, but not offering lifejacktes. Answer, we don‘t have them but you are free to bring your own. Can’t recommend.

Response from the operator: We appreciate your feedback and we will considerate to offer this service in the future. But is necessary to be clear about this situation. We couldn't hear you well (probably for a technical missfunction or bad phone sign in the area), also please be considerate with people who is not native English speaker (we do our best to provide a service to international clients). Second point... Is unfair to receive a bad reception when you did not even use our service. We want to grow as a responsible business (even this experience help us) but try to understand we want to improve our service so fair receptions is the thing we need.

Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Capri Semi-Private Boat Tour with Island Time + Classic Ford Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
