Amazing experience
Beautiful and clean-kept boat. We got lucky and had the best captain and hostess (Vincenzo & Federica). We started from Positano and got the whole day experience. They had us laughing, dancing, and in happy spirits all throughout the day. Highly recommend

Very Disappointing — Would Not Recommend
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this boat tour. The experience was nowhere near what we expected, especially considering the price. First, the company changed our departure time from 10:00 AM to 9:00 AM, which was frustrating and inconvenient. We were also told we would have 4 hours in Capri, but only received about 3 hours, which significantly cut into the time we actually had to enjoy the island. The food and drinks were also extremely disappointing. There was only one 12-pack of beer for approximately 10 people, along with a single mini bottle of Prosecco. For a boat tour that is advertised as including food and drinks, this was nowhere near enough. The food itself was very minimal and honestly gross. There was nothing about the food experience that felt worth the price we paid. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that people on the boat told us they had booked the tour just the day before. Meanwhile, friends we were traveling with had booked separately months in advance and had their reservation canceled just 24 hours before departure, despite our tour still operating. It is extremely difficult to understand how a company can cancel someone’s reservation at the last minute due to “unforeseen operational constraints” when the boat is still running and apparently accepting people who booked the day before. Overall, the schedule was changed, our time in Capri was shortened, the food was poor, and the drinks were extremely limited. For the amount of money this tour costs, we expected a much better experience. We would not book this tour again and would recommend looking elsewhere.
Response from the operator: Hi Jamie, Unfortunately, we see that after days and dozens of messages containing threats, your negative review has finally arrived. Unfortunately, at least with us, threatening to leave a negative review unless a refund is granted does not work. Simply as a matter of fairness and transparency toward those who may read this review, we will respond here, point by point. Departure time change and reduced time in Capri : In order to provide you with a better service, you were asked, 48 hours before departure, whether you would be willing to leave one hour earlier so that we could assign you a larger boat with fewer people on board. You freely accepted. Therefore, there was no arbitrary or irreversible schedule change whatsoever. Had you said no, you would have departed normally at 10:00 AM, exactly as originally booked. Regarding the time spent on land in Capri, unfortunately, your bad faith seems to have prevented you from noticing that, since we departed one hour earlier, while it is true that re-boarding in Capri took place at the usual time, you failed to consider that you also disembarked in Capri one hour earlier than usual. Food and beverages: The boat, as can also be seen from the hundreds of other 5-star reviews specifically praising our food and beverage service, was fully stocked, as always. It is genuinely unfair to invent complaints about this aspect simply to strengthen your dispute and cause further damage to our company. Rumors and hearsay regarding alleged cancellations: As for this unfounded piece of gossip, did the people who supposedly told you this also explain why we would cancel one reservation only to immediately accept another one afterward? Unfortunately, this narrative also appears to be yet another invention intended to strengthen your hostile position after you were denied a refund that was not due. As final proof that this rumor is unfounded, there were no cancellations for that tour date. We would also point out that we do not operate a single boat: we operate 37 boats. We generally refrain from commenting on the conduct or level of certain customers, as that is not our style, although on this occasion we came very close to making an exception. Nevertheless, thank you for having traveled with us, Jamie, and we wish you all the best.

Cruise in Capri
Excellent experience. The crew was extremely nice, very good knowledge of Capri and Amalfi Coast. Treated everyone individually.

Capri in a day! It’s just beautiful.
A delightful and professional setup! The Flegias is a beautiful cruising boat. Two great sunning decks front and back! Our El Capitan Vincenzo and our first mate and guide Federica were such a great team. We stopped at some picturesque Isola Di Capri locations including a sunlit cave and wonderful secluded inlet where we swam and jump off 3 meter stepped platform, just near Dolce Gabanna’s old villa. We spent 3 hours on the island enough time to take the funicular up to the Highland. The July heat is taxing, so be prepared to take it easy. Granitas all ‘round!! The coastal scenery was to die for! We loved our trip!! Highly recommended.

10/10 experience. 🌊🇮🇹☀️
We had a fantastic day touring Capri with Federica and Vincenzo. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and welcoming. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, and the scenery was absolutely incredible. There was one small hiccup during the trip, but they handled it calmly and professionally. Communication before and during the tour was excellent, and the food and drinks provided on board were a great touch. Federica and Vincenzo clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows. We felt well taken care of throughout the entire experience. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast or Capri and would happily book with them again.

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.
How much does Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit cost?
+
Prices start at $329 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.
Is Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 365 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit?
+
Around 128 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Capri in a Day All Inclusive Premium Boat Tour and City Visit start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Positano?
+
On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
