    Capri Tour rocked with Dominico

The Capri tour was excellent. Dominick was our tour guide and he knew everything! He got through everywhere with ease and was so knowledgeable about the area. He took such good care of us!

    A great way to explore...

A great way to explore Capri and get a taster of the key areas. Would recommend this trip as a first time to see key areas of the island. We had 2 hours in Anacapri, 1 hour in capri and about 2 hours in the port area. Great being picked up and taken to the ferry (avoiding having to navigate the port for tickets etc) and having buses organised. Our guide was very friendly and as had three groups at once did very well at explaining everything and keeping all entertained in different languages. Only feedback would be it would have been nicer to have lunch/food at the last stop as there was more time and was hard to eat both the lunch and do the chair lift (even just 20minutes extra would have allowed a breather) also we didn’t get to see the gardens even though this was noted in the itinerary (imagine just due to time).

Fabulous day on the island of Capri

This was the first time we visited Capri and we wanted to see as much as we could with the one day we had. The trip was very well-organized and the guides kept it moving so that we knew where to go, what to do, and when it was time to move on. From the time they picked us up to the final drop-off in the afternoon, the staff was very friendly and professional. We also had some free time to explore and took advantage of the option to take a boat trip around the island (that was an additional fee). The fee for the trip was reasonable because it also included all the kinds of transportation used in the day. Now that we have had the overview, if we go back, we will know where to go and what to skip. But we will be content knowing that we got to see as much as possible with the time we had in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you for a great day!

    Disappointing and frustrating

I had a really disappointing experience. Our guide would not explain everything to us in English so we were left confused and anxious when things were going wrong. We waited almost 2 hours at the Capri port for a bus in the sun which was extremely frustrating as they were hours we lost. The rest of the day was a rush including only an hour for us to eat our 3 course lunch and explore the town. Considering how much this experience was, overly it was a stressful and frustrating day.

Response from the operator: Dear Sirs we understand your point of view but consider that on Capri island in the high season is normal to wait to get transports and above all this service does not depends on our agency. My best regards.

Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples cost?

    +

Prices start at $144 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 407 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples?

    +

Around 142 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Capri Day Trip with Lunch from Naples start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
