What you get

    About this experience

Sailing from Sorrento to Capri, we cruise to the famous Queen Giovanna's beach, the bay of Puolo and the fishing village of Massa Lubrense. “If you choose the option that departs from Positano, you’ll enjoy the stretch of coastline from Positano to Capri, with its wonderful bays and the small village of Nerano, before arriving in Capri and discovering all of the island’s best spots.” Once we arrive at Capri we begin our tour of the island with a sightseeing tour of the Coral cave, the Withe cave, the Green cave and the Blue cave. For the blue grotto there is an extra cost for the entrance and for the weather or some events it would be closed not depending on us

    The shared boat was also...

The shared boat was also a great option because it felt more intimate and relaxed than being on a huge tour boat without paying private-boat prices. The crew was friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and there were plenty of opportunities for beautiful photos. Definitely bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses and your camera—and be prepared for Capri to be busy during the summer. If you’re staying in Sorrento and only have one day for Capri, I highly recommend doing it by boat. The views from the water alone make it worth it!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back soon.

    The Morgan’s were...

The Morgan’s were amazing!!! We truly felt safe and well cared for the entirety of the trip! Very knowledgeable about the history of multiple islands and stopped at photo points and allowed guests to take pictures! Very skilled drivers as well. I would definitely recommend!!!

Response from the operator: We’re so happy to hear that you had a great time! Thank you for your kind review and for sharing your experience. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you again soon!

    Beware of extra charges

Please be aware that there is an additional €50 charge PER PERSON on top of your ticket price for fuel/embark & disembark - for a family of 4 we had to a fork out an additional €200 at the quayside before boarding 😔. That aside we had a fantastic day: boat was comfortable, Achilles is a sweetie, and the rock formations around Capri are breathtaking. Don’t bother visiting Capri by ferry - you need a private boat to fully appreciate it. Without giving away spoilers, the tour’s climax of a certain Italian tenor blaring on the sound system & bubbly being poured while the boat motored alongside a sightseeing highlight of the day, was genius. We had a day we will never forget ❤️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re truly happy to hear that we helped make your day a memorable one. We’re sorry, though, that the additional costs were not noticed. They are clearly indicated in the booking details, and we always encourage all our guests to carefully check and read all the information provided before confirming their reservation. In any case, we’re delighted to have had you on board and hope to welcome you back again soon!

    100% recommend

From the beginning to the end we had a great time! The pick up was easy. Our captain Giovanni was a blast. We got to skip the blue grotto line and had a vip style experience the whole trip. Would do it again

Response from the operator: We truly appreciate you sharing your experience with us. Thank you for your kind review, it means a great deal to our team!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.

How much does Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 506 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano?

    +

Around 177 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Capri Daily Shared Boat Tour from Sorrento and Positano start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
