No guide provided
We were met by whom we thought would be our guide, Magdelena, who got us into the boat to the island, although she did not count to see that everyone was there., after being signed in. We were then taken to the Blue Grotto, without a guide, and were required to pay the 18 Euro entrance fee. Back at the port, Magdelena told us which bus to get to Anacapri, Capri, and back to the port. We had NO GUIDE with us. Magdalena left us as we boarded the bus for Anacapri. When we arrived at our meeting spot to return to Sorrento, we had to go to the tour office and she was not yet there. I complained to the office people that we had to pay for the Blue Grotto; thankfully we were reimbursed for that on our way back to Sorrento( by Magdalene), who met us in the line for the boat. I am going to ask Viator to reimburse us for having no guide, and no transportation to the Augustus Gardens. We were sorely disappointed. I have been on about 5 previous Viators in Europe, and all were excellent until this.
Response from the operator: Hi Carol, We are sorry if our services didn't reach your expectations, unfortunately the Blue Grotto is a national museum so if it closes or not doesen't depend on us, however the payment of the entrance fee is listed in the informations of the tour. We stive everyday to improve to make the days spent with us memorable in a fun and relaxing way, we hope to see you on board with us again! -best regards, Desireé

Spectacular
Thanks to Martina our guide to get onto the boat for the blue grotto as we went out there first. Although there was a wait we were pleased to view as many others we understand could not due to tidal and weather conditions. The rest of the tour of Anacapri was fulfilled by a trip up the gondola-what spectacular scenery🥰 the tour was rushed but a full day -thanks
Response from the operator: Hi Coral, thank you for the review and for the words well spent, we are sorry about the issue of the blue cave even if despite me, since it is the most popular attraction, it was a bit to be expected. we will wait for you for a new adventure and try to visit the blue cave. see you soon Jerry
