About this experience
Breathe in the irresistible aroma of freshly brewed moka coffee as you step into a cozy kitchen in the heart of Rome. Under the guidance of a local chef, you’ll discover the secrets of Italian coffee culture—hearing the moka pot bubble, whisking silky milk into a cloud-like foam, and tasting the first sip of a perfect cappuccino. Then, it’s time for dessert: roll up your sleeves to create Italy’s most beloved dolce—the tiramisù. Layer coffee-soaked biscuits with rich mascarpone cream and cocoa, and feel the satisfaction of crafting the “queen of Italian desserts” with your own hands. To complete the experience, prepare a small Italian pastry bite for a final touch of dolcezza. This class is more than a recipe—it’s a celebration of flavors, aromas, and traditions. You’ll savor your creations on the spot, enjoy a lively, social atmosphere, and take home a digital recipe booklet so you can relive a taste of Rome long after your journey ends.

Fantastic breakfast treats
This morning we had a class with just myself and my daughter and the chef. It was wonderful because we got so much personal attention. And we got to chat while we cooked our recipes. We made the tiramisu first and that way it could stay in the fridge for longer and get more delicious and we were able to tailor the tiramisu and the cappuccino and make it bespoke exactly how we wanted it. We also made cannolis from scratch and it was delicious and we could tailor them with chocolate chips and pistachios and cocoa powder. The chef invited us to participate more and my daughter did a lot of the mixing as well as I did and we were able to observe very closely how to for example, make the whipped cream be the exact right consistency that was necessary for the recipe. So I feel like we learned a lot, and will be able to re-create these recipes when we go back home. We also liked being able to ask questions. I can’t add very many pictures to the review because I ate all the food and none of it is left. lol.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cappuccino, Moka and Tiramisù Cooking Class in Central Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
