Beautiful places but little time in them

I was disappointed. The valley of the monks, which is one of the most important and fascinating stops of the tour lasted around 35 min. Instead, he spent that same time going to a leather and ceramic clothing store (about 30 min in each), when all that time could be spent on what one really goes. Lunch was delicious. The guide was not as lively, and did not explain as many details as other guides did in English. For Spanish speakers, if you can, take a tour in English. Few people speak Spanish and the offer may be lower quality. By the way, you do not visit Uchisar Castle, you only see it from afar on this tour. I emphasize punctuality. I paid about $110, but at the physical agency it comes out about $60. There are many in Cappadocia. I think it's best to see them directly.

    Impressive trip to the past!

Red tour is absolutely worth it. One important highlight is the open air museum (guided!) the cultural and religious history of the caves is impressive ! Panoramic views of the caves, beautiful landscapes... The dark chapel has an extra price (100 turkish lira) and it is worth it. In the open air museum there is one “cafe” and souvenir shops and facilities!

What should I bring or wear?

When is the best time to visit Goreme?

    +

How many days do you need in Goreme?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
