Just OK
Many un necessary stops to push sales. Tour guide did not explain the history nor any details of the tour. Did not offer to take photos , did not get out of the van to say bye . Good lunch. An average tour , nothing memorable. The green tour on the other hand from a different operator was very nice.

Must have when in Göreme!
Ferman was amazing with us! Super knowledgeable, well organised, kind and very attentive. He was our guide for the Green Tour, a great one! Super recommendable.

Nice experience and saved our Cappadocia stay!
Golden Cappadocia Travel saved our plans during our stay in Cappadocia. Due to weather conditions, we were unable to ride the hot air balloon. However, Ahmet Celal was very helpful and spent literally hours trying to figure out our days. He went above and beyond to try to get us 1st flight onto another hot air balloon location. Additionally, helped us book the red tour in Spanish so my mom could understand - Sibel the guide was the coolest and most fun guide! Through Ahmet, we were also able to get the ATV tour scheduled - this one was also super fun and we highly recommend it! All and all it was easy and fun to work with them, they even tried to share their food with us, they gave us water during the tour, and they also offered Apple Tea ( a must-have during your visit)! If you encounter issues where you are unable to fly, they also worked nicely with us for the refund without hassle. About the red tour - fun but long so be prepared! By the end of it, you do not want to walk anymore. Lunch is included and it is a good lunch with a buffet full of options (unless you are vegan). They include visits to random places like carpet making and ceramics which are okay, the bad part is that they will try to sell you stuff. Did not enjoy this much, but it was interesting to learn how so many generations have kept those businesses afloat! Anyway, if you are looking for help planning your itinerary of activities, I'd go to Ahmet! Thank you, Golden Cappadocia Travel, and special thanks to Ahmet!
Response from the operator: Hello, thank you for your comment. We will continue to provide professional service.

Terrible
Absolutely awful service. Shuttle to collect us from hotel to go to airport cancelled 20 minutes after pickup time. Told me to get a taxi and send a receipt to them. I done exactly that and have been completely ignored. Still not received refund!

Avoid booking these, it's a scam
Didn't turn up to collect up from the airport and didn't turn up today to bring us to the airport despite it being confirmed. They never answered the phone or emails. Scam company. Avoid.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Goreme.
How much does Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Goreme usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Goreme is not rushed.
Is Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Goreme, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Goreme can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Goreme and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cappadocia: Explore Cappadocia's Highlights on the Red Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Goreme within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Goreme?
+
On Outty we rank every Goreme experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Red (North) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and tickets, Green (South) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and ticket, Cappadocia Green Tour - Classic Route (Popular). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Goreme?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Goreme?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
