    Deception

I closed the balloon tour and blue tour and the day before I was informed that I would not have the balloon tour due to the weather conditions, only the land part (blue tour). So far, all right. However, at the time of the refund, the balloon ride was not performed correctly. It is charged 75 euros the ground tour and 300 euros ground + balloon, per Cover. At the time of the refund, the agency only refunded 150 euros per Cover, so I felt extremely hurt, because if I did only the ground part, the amount charged should be 75 euros, as I had already paid 300 euros, the correct amount of the refund would be 225 euros per Cover. In contact with the travel agency, 1 day before the tour, they informed me that they would make the refund of the remaining part - all this documented and done by Viator's own platform. The day after the tour, I was informed by Viator that the refund was not authorized by the provider, even I had sent all the documentation that the tour was not performed as combined and the provider itself (local tourist agency) would authorize the refund from the platform. A complete disrespect to the tourist from the local agency. Generates lack of credibility of the Viator platform, since I was fooled by the Service provider and even I was equipped with all the evidence, the Viator platform left me in the loss.

NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF FRAUDSTERS AND SCAMMERS

Absolute bunch of fraudsters who ruined my trip to Cappadocia. Warning to all tourists to NOT book any hot air balloon trips with this company. I received notification of my cancellation after midnight on the morning of the pick up and giving no explanation. Imagine the stress it put me under after booking three months in advance and travelling all the way from UK for this balloon ride. Shambles !!!!

Genuine and irresponsible, they left us in the hand

We were literally left in hand on the eve of the tour, despite the purchase made and paid more than 40 days in advance. Simply put, less than 12 hs before the tour we were informed that they were full and that Viator would return our money (which was subsidizing them - better than any bank). They were irresponsible and greedy, because they sold our seats to other tourists for a higher price and we had to run for another supplier, paying 40% more than the initial price). Both ENKA Travel and Viator were co-responsible for a lot of stress and financial losses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

    Beautiful!

Spectacular balloon experience while that of the guided tour good but with a kind of unexpected carpet sale....

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you very much for your valuable comment. He is happy to welcome you. Kind regards, Berkay Karanfil

Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Goreme.

How much does Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Goreme usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Goreme is not rushed.

Is Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Goreme, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Goreme can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Goreme and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cappadocia Blue Tour and Sunrise Balloon Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Goreme within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Goreme?

    +

On Outty we rank every Goreme experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Red (North) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and tickets, Green (South) Tour Cappadocia (small group) with lunch and ticket, Cappadocia Green Tour - Classic Route (Popular). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Goreme?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Goreme?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
