About this experience
Depending on whether you prefer red or white wine, with bubbles or without, we will design a tour that meets your needs. From bold Shiraz, to mellow Merlots and perfect Pinots. We also offer tastings of the unique South African cultivar The Pinotage. The Pinotage is a red wine grape that is South Africa's signature variety. It was bred here in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut grape and the signature Pinotage vintages are prolific in the Stellenbosch area.

Wonderful Wine Tour with Andrew
Great tour of a beautiful wine country. We got lucky that the group only had our party, which made the experience feel very private and personalized. Our tour guide and driver, Andrew, was fantastic. He let us choose the wineries and attractions we wanted to visit and mapped out the route very efficiently. The last stop however was Andrew’s choice and that place was simply breathtaking. We had an absolute blast!

Amazing experience
Having a private driver was amazing. Our driver was knowledgeable about the vineyards and the city of Stellenbosch. The day was serene and peaceful. We never felt rushed, we were able to take our time and enjoy the amazing beauty. We would definitely recommend this activity to any future travelers.

Wine tasting tour
I had the most magical experience. The best 8hrs of my life. Words can’t explain the experience I had. I would like to highlight my appreciation to our tour guide Yomi. Yomi was truly a breath of fresh air. So enthusiastic, so polite, she brought the good vibes. Energy is everything and she was the perfect addition to our wine tasting experience. Thank you so much Yomi.
Response from the operator: Beautiful review, Thank you so much.

We now love all South African Wine!
We had a lovely day sampling lots of different wines from different local vineyards. Our guide (Yomi) was lovely. She was attentive and worked hard to not only drive us back and forth but also to give us lots of information about Cape Town too. We even ordered a few bottles of wine to be delivered back home!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Nicola for such an amazing review. We are glad you had the best of your excursion

Fantastic trip and fun tour guide.
Yomi, our tour guide was top notch! She was on time, great energy, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She made sure we understood the timeline and what to expect. The wineries were beautiful with spectacular views. Thank you for leaving the best for last. It would be helpful in future tours to include cold water and good air conditioned vehicles. As Canadians the heat is unbearable and we are consuming a fair amount of alcohol through out the day. Overall our best tour guide of the trip so far. Thank you Yomi!!
Response from the operator: Beautiful and thank for such an awesome feedback. This means a lot to us.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive cost?
+
Prices start at $2950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting all inclusive start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Town Airport Private Transfer, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
