Cape Peninsula Tour
Our South Africa Peninsula Tour was nothing short of incredible. The itinerary was perfectly planned, offering a seamless blend of breathtaking views, exciting stops, and great local experiences. We kicked off the day at Hout Bay and took the stunning Chapman's Peak Drive — a truly unforgettable way to start the morning. Fayical was absolutely amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable and friendly, but he also ensured we stayed on schedule while never making us feel rushed. He even suggested excellent local spots for lunch, which turned out to be some of the best meals we had on our trip. Towards the end of the day, we ran into unexpected traffic due to the Tokai fires. Despite the delay, Fayical remained calm and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. He even made a spontaneous stop at Muizenberg Beach, which turned out to be a lovely and relaxing end to the tour. Highly recommend this tour — it was well-organized, full of memorable moments, and made even better by a fantastic guide who truly cared about our experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt and detailed review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your Peninsula Tour was such a memorable experience. It’s wonderful to know that the itinerary, scenic stops, and local recommendations made a lasting impression — and that Fayical helped make the day smooth and enjoyable, even amidst the unexpected traffic from the Tokai fires. We’re especially happy that the spontaneous visit to Muizenberg Beach added a relaxing touch to end your tour. Your kind words about Fayical's professionalism and care mean the world to us, and we’ll be sure to pass on your compliments to him. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Cape Town again soon for more adventures.

Once in a lifetime
We recently took this tour and our guide was Said. Said was extremely informative as we drove through all the stop off points and we learned so much about Cape Town from him. He took us to lots of fantastic spots and advised on where the best places were to eat along the way. He even queued up for us at the Cape of Good Hope while we were exploring elsewhere to make sure got a timely photo. He was extremely patient as we explored all that was to be seen and it was lovely speaking to him and learning about his life and family in Cape Town. Thank you for a fantastic tour. Will & Ashleigh
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Said is an awesome tour guide. We will let him know of his amazing work. We hope you enjoyed the remainder of your holiday.

Thank you Chris for a great day tour
Thank you to Chris for an incredible peninsula day tour. I would recommend it to anyone who would prefer a leisurely and bespoke experience. We started our time at 9 am, a direct pick-up from the hotel and spent the day at our leisure. Our tour guide Chris was personable, professional and very knowledgable. He balanced the right amount of information to provide on the day, and what made it so great was that he could join in with landscape photography. I've thoroughly enjoyed a tailored and personalised experience, the tour itself did not cover the entry fees, but I recommend local and international visitors apply for an annual SAN Parks wildcard, especially when you plan to return on more than one occasion. Thank you so much for a memorable experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you, we greatly appreciate your feedback.

Excellent overview of the Cape Peninsula with an outstanding tour guide
We were extremely happy with our Cape Peninsula tour. Our guide, Chris, was friendly and informative. He was happy to abbreviate or skip stops that we were interested in and spend more time at the spots we were. Chris took us into the locals part of Boulders Beach instead of just walking us around the penguin sanctuary and I really appreciated that. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to someone looking for an easy introduction to the Cape Peninsula and the opportunity to grab some great photographs.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are happy you had a great tour and we hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $66 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour take?
+

Is Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cape Town: Cape Peninsula, Ostrich Farm & Penguins Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Town Airport Private Transfer, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
