Perfect tours with Cape to Grape
We booked 3 private tours plus airport pickups with Adriaan. We wanted to visit some out of the way wineries and do the usual Cape Town attractions. Adriaan sorted out our itinerary and made sure we achieved all our expectations. Adriaan was the perfect host meeting us at the airport, even though our flight had been delayed over 2 hours. He was always punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating throughout our whole time with him. All fees and meals were arranged and taken care of, which made for a very care free and relaxing time. He definitely knows the area having grown up there, and had great knowledge of the wines we sampled. All in all, we couldn’t fault anything and we are very pleased to have chosen Cape to Grape.
Response from the operator: Dear Paul Hope that you are keeping well and thank you for your positive review of your experience on my tours. It was a great pleasure to host you and Connie! Hope to see you again in the future when you are visiting Cape Town again. Best wishes! Adriaan

Amazing Day
My girlfriend and I had superb day tour with Adriaan. Adriaan's knowledge of the Cape Point area and wildlife were fascinating and his enthusiasm was infectious. We saw some stunning coastal scenery and local wildlife including whales, baboons, seals and penguins. An unforgettable day and highlight of our holiday. If we travel to Cape Town again we will definitely book another tour with Adriaan.
Response from the operator: Dear Andy & Letween Thank you very much for your kind words and great feedback from your experience on our Cape Point Peninsula tour. I am looking forward hosting you guys again, the next time you are visiting South Africa! Keep well! Kindest Regards Adriaan

Most perfect day!
What a wonderful day we had on the Cape tour with a great host. Adriaan showed us the many sites and townships of the Cape enlightening us with many stories about each of them and South African history throughout the day. He also chose a perfect spot for lunch. We were lucky that it was a beautiful sunny winter’s day; a most perfect day to end our time in Cape Town.
Response from the operator: Thank you lindam231, I appreciate your kind words and am glad that you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for taking the time to rate and review us on TripAdvisor, it is appreciated. So glad that you enjoyed your time with me and in Cape Town. Kind regards, Adriaan

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours) cost?
+
Prices start at $3350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours) take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours) suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cape Point Peninsula Tour (Cape To Grape Wine Tours) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Town Airport Private Transfer, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
