Enjoyable from Start to Finish!

A great day out around Cape Town and its surrounds in the good company of our chauffeur/guide Yoyo Alfani. He was friendly, punctual, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable of the routes and places we visited. He is a safe driver who places our safety above all else. The vehicle provided for the four of us was new, spacious and clean. Special appreciation too to Alain and Naomi whom I have been in contact with prior to our trip and they were most prompt with my queries. Their help and advice made our experience all the richer and more enjoyable. All in, I would strongly recommend Chalula Tours and would not hesitate to use its services again!

Our best day trip in the Cape!

Yoyo was a wonderful knowledgable guide! We covered a lot of territory and he made the trip as smooth as possible. He even arranged lunch for us with a beautiful view of the ocean. We knew the sites were not to be missed but he also kept an eye out so we saw ostriches, baboons and impalas in addition to the penguins.

Nice tour

If you want a quiet, relaxed and kind atmosphere, this is your tour. Starting at Bo-Kaap neighborhood, by car, getting a glimpse of its history, we continued to the impressive 12 apostles mountain range. Then to Hout Bay Harbor, here with a bit of the history behind “Maids Beach”. We enjoyed very much Cape of Good Hope. Specially windy! Don’t forget to take a sweater for some parts of the tour. It gets cold when it’s windy. And Penguins at Boulder’s beach is absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Prince was always very kind, good driver and attentive. Thank you very much!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Valued clients thank you for taking your time to lease us a great review we very happy to learn that you had a fantastic day with your tour guide prince and he was a safe and reliable guide driver that you had opportunity to see everything we had on the itinerary. and thank you for recommending him and Chalula Private Tours team to our future Clients. once again thank you. Stay Safe Best Wishes Naomi thanks

Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car cost?

+

Prices start at $1125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car?

+

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cape of Good Hope & Penguins Boulder's Beach in Private Car start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
