Great Option!
Amazing experience and would highly recommend! The guides were kind and informative and the whole experience was a ton of fun, you could tell the people involved enjoy it. They also take pictures and video during the experience and it’s so affordable to buy after. The pick up and drop off at our hotel was seamless as well as lunch experience which was local and delicious. Highly recommend!

Great Experience- would highly recommend!
Great experience, would definitely recommend we was in a group of 6! Kendal and two other staff (apologies didn't catch their names!) were fantastic. Kendal especially helping me along the way and much encouragement from the others as I was a little uneasy at points. Thanks again, to all! PURA VIDA

The best excursion we did...
The best excursion we did in La Fortuna. The repelling was great, guides were friendly and helpful. I’m very scared of heights, but this felt very secure and safe. The best part is how beautiful the area is. So many pretty waterfalls and plants. Would definitely do it again.

Don't Let the Rain Stop You—It Made This Adventure Even Better!
If you're debating whether to do the Lost Canyon Adventure with Desafío because of the weather, stop thinking and just go. Let it rain! The downpour turned an already incredible experience into an unforgettable one. From pickup to drop-off, everything was exceptionally well organized. Our guides—Eliomar, Arturo, Kendal, and Ruben—were absolutely outstanding. They were the perfect combination of professional, highly skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. As first-time canyoners, we were naturally a little nervous, but they made sure every single step of the adventure felt safe, exciting, and confidence-building. They were especially fantastic with kids, encouraging everyone while never compromising on safety. The waterfall rappels were the highlight of the day—there's nothing quite like descending through a roaring tropical waterfall! Trekking down the river between rappels was equally amazing, and the guides had a few unexpected surprises along the way that made the adventure even more memorable. One piece of advice: buy the photo and video package. The guides captured incredible photos and videos throughout the entire experience, allowing us to be fully present instead of worrying about cameras. It was worth every penny and gave us memories we'll treasure forever. If you're looking for an adventure that's thrilling, professionally run, family-friendly, and unlike anything you've done before, the Lost Canyon Tour with Desafío should be at the very top of your Costa Rica itinerary. It was one of the absolute highlights of our trip.

A wonderful experience canyoning!
I went canyoning as part of my group tour, and this company provided an amazing experience. They were very thorough with their safety precautions, but also wanted to make sure everyone had fun. The guides were very supportive when I needed help and I had a great time rappelling and venturing through the canyon. Be sure to wear good water shoes since there is a lot of walking through the rocky stream.
