My girlfriend I had a great experience with Adventure and Spirit. We've done several canyoneering trips in the past, and this was certainly the most wild. We did the Tamata Canyon trip, and I will say that it was very intense. Like hacking through a virgin jungle with a machete, sliding down steep canyon walls on your butt, intense. Definitely the least commercial trip like this I've been on. As a result - unbelievable beauty and adventure all to yourselves. Booking and planning was easy, they were very responsive to all inquiries. The guides were amazing - super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and spoke excellent English. They even took a bunch of gopro videos and pictures, and gave them to us when we were done. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Bali. My partner and I are in our mid 50s and reasonably fit and active. Tamata was about the limit of what my partner was up to, and I was pretty exhausted by the end of it as well. I wouldn't change a thing, but I wouldn't want to do anything more difficult either. If you have any doubts as to whether you're up for this particular canyon, you may want to choose an easier one. Thank you Adventure and Spirit - a class act through and through.

Best of the best
My husband booked this and really wanted to go canyoning. I honestly was worried about it as I don’t like heights that much. We started the day with about an hour drive to the mountains once picked up from our resort. The view was incredible! We got to the top and the staff prepared a typical Balinese breakfast and tea before we left for our trip. It is definitely important to eat before such an intense day. We left and went to the drop off point were we hiked to the first waterfall. The staff was very helpful in assisting even though all of us had never done it before. The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful! I will say that the hiking between waterfalls was extreme and seemed pretty dangerous in spots but honestly that’s the kind of experience we wanted. It was true hiking! I would not recommend doing this if you have trouble with any sort intense exercise because you are literally climbing across rocks, down sticks, and climbing up steep mountains. I am pretty young (30) and workout everyday and it was intense for me but like I said I enjoy a good challenge! After we completed the waterfalls and hiking we returned to the house where the ladies had lunch ready for us. I will say the thing that made this trip so memorable was the staff. Honestly they made the entire trip worth it. They were so friendly and told us about everything in our surroundings and we literally felt like old friends when we left. After lunch we enjoyed talking with them before our drive home. It was great to get to really get to sit down and eat with them. I am grateful for the memories we have here!!

Canyoning is a must in Bali
Had a great time with Rama and the his team canyoning at tamata. They were beautiful scenaries along the way. Breakfast and lunch were great as well. Professional photos were provided free of charge.
