7 hour private tour
Overall experience was great, the water was beautiful, but the Catamaran was a but worn down. You can see all the wear and tear, the net especially look like it needs an upgrade. Our 7 hour tour did include buffet on the island and it left a lot to be desired. The staff is amazing. They are always ready and available to bring your drinks.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you had a great overall experience, enjoyed the beautiful water, and that our staff took excellent care of you throughout the tour. We appreciate your comments regarding the condition of the catamaran and the buffet on the island. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will share it with our operations team and partners to continue improving both the vessel presentation and the dining experience. Thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to share your experience. — Boat Trips Club Team

A time was had! Bach party!
The girls had a private boat. Everything was great. Wish they had snacks but the drinks were good. Penguin was our cool guide! Definitely recommend if you want to have some fun! Bach Trip was a success had fun on the boat. I only didn’t like the pictures and I was so lit I spent too much money on them and I didn’t seem to have a lot and the quality was okay. But the boat itself was a great time!
Response from the operator: We are so happy to read this review. Thank you so much!

Bait and switch
Don’t go off the picture on the site. We were told the boat was beautiful. The boat was much older and very tight to accommodate our 26 guests. The boat needs serious maintenance. There were parts falling off and the side barriers are ropes. So not very safe and it was very slippery. . The staff was great. We made the best of it.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that the boat did not fully meet your expectations. Please be assured that all of our boats are directly operated by us, fully licensed, insured, and regularly inspected to guarantee the highest safety standards for our guests. Safety is never compromised, and our crew is trained to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience on board. We understand that comfort and appearance are just as important, and we will review your comments with our maintenance team to make sure improvements are made where needed. At the same time, we’re happy to hear our staff provided great service, and we appreciate that you made the best of your trip. We truly value your feedback, and we hope to welcome you again so we can provide you with the upgraded experience that reflects our standards.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option cost?
+
Prices start at $950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cancun: Private Catamaran with Open Bar & Snorkeling Option start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
