    No car seat !

I was forced to pay extra for a car seat, and didn’t have a car seat on our way back to the airport! The driver said she wasn’t notified and didn’t care!

Response from the operator: Dear Olivia, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We would like to investigate this situation further to understand what happened and ensure it doesn’t happen again. Could you please contact us directly at hola@bluetrippers.com with your booking name and travel date? Thank you again for sharing your feedback — we take it very seriously and will do our best to resolve this promptly. Kind regards,

Stay away they leave you stranded

Stay away from this company they were recommended through our resort. When I booked my credit card was immediately hacked and 2000 charged to it. Flight was delayed informed them via email, received confirmation from them arrived at airport they were not there, called all numbers provided, one was cell number which phone was shut off other number was office and it was closed. After 45 minutes hired taxi for a huge cost to drive us to hotel. An hour and 45 minutes later received a call asking where we were, when I replied I hired another taxi as they were a no show the person started to speak in Spanish, as my husband is Spanish I handed the phone to him and they hung up and turned cell phone off again. After reporting to the hotel I received an email that for the return to the airport we would get vip transport. They arrived in a vehicle that could not carry all of us and our luggage. They tried to separate us from our luggage and have it go in another vehicle. When we refused and the hotel got involved finally they sent a vehicle that could carry everyone 45 minutes after our pick up time. I will say the driver was amazing and got us to the airport in time, he was the bright spot. Blue trippers informed the hotel that they had issued a refund to me, I have not had a refund to date and due to the credit card fraud they are unable to refund the original card. When I call I get the run around I have to talk to my supervisor will call back. Stay away from them.

    Buyer Beware

We booked a private transfer a month in advance for pick up from the airport to the resort and back. We arrived and could not find a BlueTrippers rep anywhere. We waited over an hour searching for them with no avail. Several calls and emails were sent to the contact numbers provided by blue trippers. After 90 minutes we were forced to pay a different taxi company to take us to our hotel. When we contacted BlieTrippers about their mistake. They provided fabricated screen shots take the next night saying they were there waiting for us. When we showed them the call logs and our own photos they they said they were delayed due to construction and we left too early…….. They refused to reimburse the additional cost of our transfer. They also refused to refund us anything unless we cancelled the scheduled pick up for the airport. We were left waiting at 11pm with a 6 and 7 year old. The company showed no accountability and blamed us. We still haven’t received any refund and assume we will have to put a dispute in with VISA. Take what you any from this review. But won’t make me say I told you so. There are many other reputable transfer companies.

    poor customer service

We had to cancel our transfer with Bluetripper and they said it would not be an issue - )booked and cancel in Oct 2023). They stated our money would be put back in our account within the week, it was not. Upon questioning this, they stated it would be deposited the next week, nothing. We have inquired multiple times. It is now Dec 18th and no one will respond to us. We have used Bluetripper for transfers and excursions in the past, we will NOT be using or recommending them again!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way) cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way) take?

    +

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way)?

    +

Is Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way) suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way)?

    +

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cancún Airport – Hotel Zone Transportation (One-Way) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chichen Itza from Cancun : Cenote, Valladolid and Mayan Cuisine, Early Access to Chichen Itza with optional pick-up, Early morning Chichen Itza Tour: Cenote and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
