    Sensational morning at Camelback!

I booked with this company as I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on an epic hike during my time in Arizona. As a solo traveller I wanted to make sure I took the trail with someone experienced and friendly to help me get the most out of it. And my goodness did Michelle deliver! Her guidance was so helpful and she gave me tips I'll be using in future "scramble" climbs, but overall her enthusiasm for the place and life shone through. Yoga at the top was exactly what was needed before the clamber down. I am so grateful to have had such a fun morning!

Response from the operator: Gemma!! You are so awesome!!! I absolutely loved your adventurous spirit. You were truly a joy to explore with. Thank you for your great review and feedback. The Costa Rica retreat is open for 2026. You should come!!!

    Solo hike with Michelle

Views and hike were amazing. Went by myself (22 female) and Michelle gave the best customized experience and the most instagram worthy photos of me.The relaxing yoga at the end was the cherry on top ✔️

Response from the operator: Fatima, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and share your wonderful feedback! I'm so happy you loved the photos! You were a joy to meet. Hope to cross paths again next time you're in Phoenix!

    A Must-Do!

This was an awesome experience! It was mixed with beautiful views and a challenging hike, followed by a relaxing yoga session with amazing scenery. Michelle with Heller Good had an incredible personality. She was very experienced with the trail and led me and my husband safely up the canyon while providing information about the area, local plants, and wildlife. Highly recommend!!

Response from the operator: Kayleigh, I'm so thankful for your kind feedback and all of your you-ness. I wish I had seen your review here sooner, but better late than never! I hope to cross paths again next time you're in the area!! Until then, keep exploring and shining!

Excellent way to start a morning in Scottsdale.

Michelle was a fun and knowledgeable teacher. Because I was the only one on my morning camelback hike and yoga, I had the good fortune to be able pepper her with all the questions I needed local answers to for the rest of our trip, to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Her tips really made the trip so much more fun than it would have been without her. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Rory, thank you so very much! I'm very happy to hear that the tips I offered made the rest of your trip even better. LOVE THAT! I sincerely hope to cross paths again, perhaps at a retreat!

Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phoenix.

How much does Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View cost?

    +

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phoenix usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phoenix is not rushed.

Is Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Phoenix, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phoenix can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phoenix and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Camelback's Hidden Gems - Hike & Yoga with a View start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phoenix within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phoenix?

    +

Phoenix runs on desert experiences: sunrise hot air balloon lifts over the Sonoran, Camelback and South Mountain hikes, off-road Tonto Forest tours and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Heat safety and start times decide whether a tour is good, so we weight timing detail in the ranking. On Outty we rank every Phoenix experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kayaking the Salt River Foxtail Trip, Grand Canyon with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon Van Tour, Phoenix Hot Air Balloon Ride at Sunrise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phoenix?

    +

November to April. Summer tours run at dawn or not at all. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phoenix?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
