Magic in the desert

We just concluded our wonderful tour in the desert and with still sand in our shoes, I can recommend Addi Mouhou as a guide to discover all the gems that this magical place offers. We left in the evening around 6 PM with our camels and reached the camp in about an hour, breathtaking views, the sunset gave us emotions and indescribable colors. Upon arriving at the camp, we played in the sand, did sandboarding, took endless photos... a nice shower and a great dinner awaited us inside the restaurant tent. The air conditioning inside our tent was not present; in fact, upon our arrival, we feared boiling during the night, but instead, the temperature dropped and we slept very well. In the morning, we woke up very early for the sunrise, perhaps too early 😅 we were afraid of missing it, and our day began with the wonderful colors of the enormous sun. At 9 AM, Addi came to pick us up with Aziz, and in the 4x4, he took us to explore the desert, the Berber family, the black desert, in search of fossils, an old quartz mine. What can I say, this experience is highly recommended; the heat is indeed felt, but the scenery almost makes you forget it. Bring several liters of water; you will need them. Thank you, Addi.

wonderfull dessert stay

We had a wonderful stay in te dessert! We stayed for 2 nights and did a dessert jeep tour the second day. The tents were confortable, the food was good, the staff was very friendly. We played in the sand, relaxed and enjoyed the silence and the beautiful sand dunes. We would love to come back one time!

Good a travel trip with addi

addi was fantastic and even met us in merzouga the first day. Very very flexible reflecting our desires but showed us many out of the way places that were historic, interesting, hard to find and not crowded. He allowed us to see and experience. His car was incredible comfortable and took photos so everyone was in the picture. He helped us with some of the logistics. He spoke clear English and we would definitely hire him again.

Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.

How much does Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Merzouga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Merzouga is not rushed.

Is Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience?

+

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Camel Ride From Merzouga with 1 Night Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Merzouga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Merzouga?

+

On Outty we rank every Merzouga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Camel Trekking & 1 Night in Merzouga Desert Camp, From Merzouga: 2-Nights In Luxury Camp with Camel Trek & Dinner., Overnight in Merzouga with unforgettable Sunset & Camel/Quad ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Merzouga?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Merzouga?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
