I had an amazing experience with this tour! Fernando was an outstanding guide friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He took his time explaining everything, answered all of our questions, and made sure everyone had a great experience. The transportation was comfortable with air conditioning, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized, we never felt rushed, and the entire day was a lot of fun. I highly recommend booking a tour with Fernando if you’re visiting the area. Five stars!

The tour was well balanced, combining walking and driving, with interactive stops along the way and some refreshing local treats to finish. An unforgettable and deeply authentic way to experience Cali and the Colombian Pacific

I spent several days exploring Cali and the Colombian Pacific with Valley Adventours, and I can honestly say this was one of the most meaningful travel experiences I have ever had. I did several tours with them: Bahía Málaga for whale watching, the City Tour, the Walking Tour, La Alameda/Local Market experience, and the Comuna 20/Siloé tour. Each one showed me a different side of Cali and Valle del Cauca: nature, history, food, community, resilience, culture, and the warmth of Colombian people. Bahía Málaga was unforgettable. The Pacific region is powerful, raw, beautiful, and deeply alive. This is not just a “tourist activity.” It is an experience that connects you with nature, local communities, the ocean, and the real Colombian Pacific. The whale watching experience, the landscapes, the boat rides, the food, the people, and the rhythm of the place made it truly special. The City Tour and Walking Tour were also excellent. They helped me understand Cali beyond what you usually see online. I learned about the city’s history, architecture, music, culture, and local identity in a way that felt safe, organized, and authentic. The La Alameda / local market experience was one of my favorites because it felt real. It was not staged or overly commercial. It was a beautiful way to experience local flavors, everyday culture, and the richness of Cali through food and community. The Comuna 20 / Siloé tour was incredibly powerful. It is a tour about transformation, resilience, art, community, and hope. Seeing the murals, the viewpoints, the MIO Cable, and the stories behind the neighborhood gave me a completely different appreciation for Cali. This is the kind of experience that helps travelers understand the heart of a city. What makes Valley Adventours special is not only the destinations. It is the people. Fernando was kind, present, and made the experience feel safe and enjoyable. Marcela was exceptional. She is organized, intelligent, warm, and very attentive. She communicates clearly, follows up, explains details, and makes you feel taken care of before, during, and after the tours. Karina was also excellent with communication. Everything was handled with care, clarity, and professionalism. Andrés brings kindness, knowledge, and a genuine love for what they do. You can tell this company is not just trying to sell tours. They care about the experience, the travelers, the guides, and the communities they work with. Something I really appreciated is that they are honest about logistics. If the weather, the ocean, the tide, transportation, or group size can affect the itinerary, they explain it clearly. That level of transparency builds trust. As someone who has traveled and worked in operations, I deeply value when a company cares not only about selling the experience, but also about protecting the quality of the experience. Valley Adventours does that. If you are visiting Cali, do not just stay in the city center or go only to the most obvious places. Book with Valley Adventours. Let them show you Cali, Siloé, the local markets, the culture, and if you have the chance, the Colombian Pacific. Whether you are Colombian, visiting from abroad, traveling solo, with friends, or looking for something authentic and meaningful, this company is an excellent choice. I left with beautiful memories, deeper respect for the region, and a full heart. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Wow, Aura and Milagros! It wasn't our first time with you; you had booked with us on previous occasions, and you returned for all the reasons you explained in this beautiful message to the entire Valley Adventours team: guides, drivers, boatmen, chef, and everyone who contributes to our operation. Thank you so much for trusting us again and allowing us to be part of your travels and experiences. It's a pleasure for us to showcase our region in the best possible way. Thank you for every detail of each experience; that's what we strive for when tourists book with us, and we want them to feel like part of our family. You brought tears to our eyes when we read such a long and detailed review; we truly appreciate your time and honesty. Whale watching is an experience we can all enjoy, and if we have the opportunity, we shouldn't miss it. Each of our experiences in Cali makes everything complete and truly special.

Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cali.

How much does Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cali usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cali is not rushed.

Is Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 333 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cali, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city?

    +

Around 117 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cali can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cali and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cali: City Tour | Guided tour around the city start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cali within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cali?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cali experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour Guatapé, A day to enjoy nature and have an adventure in the Jordan river, Shared Tour of the Historical and Cultural Center of Cali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cali?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cali?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
