Day 1 Cairo
An absolutely amazing day with Ali! We’ve had the most incredible day exploring the wonders of Egypt, and a huge part of that was down to our fantastic guide, Ali. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and genuinely passionate about what he does. No question was too much trouble, and he always had an answer for us! Our day started at the magnificent Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of them all. Seeing these incredible structures in person is something we’ll never forget. We then visited the Sphinx, which was absolutely amaze balls! 😂🇪🇬 Next, we visited an aromatherapy and oils business, where we learned about the traditional use of herbs and how the oils are made. The Bedouin knowledge was fascinating, although I think my wife may have single-handedly funded the business for the next few months! 🤣 We then enjoyed a lovely lunch before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). This was a real highlight of the day. We spent time exploring the Tutankhamun exhibition, which was truly magnificent. The history, artefacts and sheer scale of everything were absolutely mind-blowing. We also made a stop at a papyrus workshop, where we learned how papyrus is made and had the opportunity to browse some paintings. It was a nice little addition to the day, and it was interesting to see the traditional process. Finally, Ali made sure we were safely dropped back at our hotel after a full and unforgettable day. But what really made the experience special was Ali himself. His knowledge of Egyptian history was exceptional, he was attentive to everyone in our group, and he made the entire experience feel relaxed, enjoyable and personal. He was always happy to answer our questions and went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic day. Travelling as a group, with different ages and interests, can sometimes be challenging, but Ali handled everything brilliantly. If you’re considering booking a tour in Cairo or Giza, we would absolutely recommend this company and, if possible, ask for Ali. He genuinely helped make a fantastic day even more memorable. Thank you, Ali, for an unforgettable experience and for sharing your knowledge and passion for this amazing country with us. You’re a credit to your company! 🇪🇬❤️ And if that doesn’t say enough about how much we enjoyed today, we’re already heading out with the same company again tomorrow for another tour! Best Tour I’ve Had in Egypt — Ask for Ahmed!
I’ve been to Egypt more than a dozen times, and this was easily the best tour experience I’ve had. Ahmed was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He brought the Pyramids to life and was equally impressive at the spectacular new Grand Egyptian Museum. The GEM is incredible, but having an educated Egyptologist like Hani completely transforms the experience and gives you a much deeper appreciation of what you’re seeing. Kudos to our driver as well—professional, friendly, and made the entire day seamless. I was also very impressed with the upgraded facilities at the Pyramids and how organized everything was. If you’re considering a tour in Cairo, stop looking and book this one—and specifically request Ahmed. After more than a dozen trips to Egypt, I don’t give that recommendation lightly. Absolutely worth it and unquestionably a 5-star experience.

Our guide Ali was the best! I can’t imagine doing any of the excursions without him! He was fun, friendly and SO knowledgeable about history, the Egyptian culture and getting around. So thankful for the time he gave us and all the information he provided! Highly recommend!!
