Cairo Tour is not part of this tour
The tour name says Cairo Tour Manial Palace and felucca with lunch. I think this is deceptive since I read that to mean we’d have a Cairo Tour followed by the Manial Palace then a felucca sail. No, it means just the Palace, a felucca (not necessarily much of a sail) and lunch. 1. We did the felucca tour first, but there was no wind so we floated over to the middle of the river and sat there for about an hour going nowhere looking at the same view. 2. The "palace" does not look palatial, like in the picture. The furniture is old and torn, everything faded and covered in dust. Just saying I don't think it is well kept. Entrance fee is only about $1 that is included in the cost. 3. The restaurant had a power outing and no running water. In 90 degrees they sat us at a table and opened a window, flies an’ all. To the company’s credit, when I asked for another restaurant, they did so, and fortunately for us it was far better than the original one. A word of advice to the tour company. It is better to pick a restaurant that offers a buffet lunch where people can see what they want and can usually find something they can settle for. 4. The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. 5. To the company’s credit, it turned out only two of us booked this trip, but they still went ahead with the tour rather than cancel. We appreciate that. The cost of the tour is overpriced for what we got.

Worth visiting while in Cairo. And if you do, go with Zizou.
We had a marvelous day exploring the glorious Manial Palace with Zizou, followed by a tranquil Felucca ride on the Nile, then lunch on land. An Egyptologist and excellent storyteller, Zizou brought the palace's history to life with his deep knowledge and engaging stories. The tranquility of the felucca ride complimented the palace tour and offered us the chance to rest our legs and to chat with Zizou. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge but also a great conversationalist and wonderful company. If your trip to Egypt permits it, I definitely recommend including this tour in your itinerary. Despite being right smack in bustling Cairo, the grounds was pleasantly peaceful and the palace itself, spectacularly ornate and beautiful. And if you do book this tour, do ask specifically for Zizou.

A wonderful day in Cairo
This tour was a perfect compliment to our large tour itinerary as it covered experiences not included in our itinerary. Our guide Zizou was a fantastic fund of knowledge especially during our tour of the Manial Palace. We enjoyed our peaceful felucca ride and delicious lunch. All and all a great day.

Unprofessional and not trustful
Booked in advance, took the time to confirm with the tour operator 2 days in advance, last minute they contact me to inform there s a problem with my booking and that what I paid does not incude the tour which was clearly mentioned in my ticket but still they mentioned this was a mistake with Viator, I contacted viator to upgrade my ticket meanwhile they cancelled my tickets, another upsetting event in egypt, where you feel you could be cheated around each corner
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for telling us about this issue. We always strive to provide amazing service and I'm sorry that didn't happen this time, kindly note that your booking was incomplete, and you have been notified before to amend your booking, and no action was taken from your side. We hope this helps clear things up and we look forward to providing a quality experience in the future.

Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cairo Tour Manial Palace and Felucca with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
