Tour was well run. Out guide Mario was very knowledgeable

    Not really reliable

The excursion is a must-do if you are in Cairo because the site of Saqqara, the pyramids of Dahshur, and Memphis absolutely deserve to be visited. That said, our driver was quite inexperienced, the car was old and certainly not suitable for covering all these miles. We had to pay the entrance tickets to the 3 sites for the driver as well (the ticket still costs much less for Egyptians than for tourists). He should have had two bottles of water for us, but instead he didn't have them, and it was really difficult to find water in those places where there is nothing (except in Memphis where we were finally able to buy some water). Unrequested stop at a rug seller that made us waste half an hour. There should have been another stop at another shop, but we objected because it was late, we were tired, and we wanted to return to the hotel. I recommend bringing drinks and food because you won't find anything at those sites. I recommend going because they are very beautiful and unique places, but with a prepared driver who can also act as a guide at least a little bit and with a decent car. For what the excursion cost, booked on Booking.com, it was absolutely not worth it.

    A Must!

A once in a lifetime experience. Photographs, videos, paintings, and poetry cannot explain thses sites. My guide, Hany, was professional, educated, clear (in English), patient. I could not ask for more. Having surviving Cairo traffic for weeks, I found the driver, Magty, was the most smooth, calm and capable driver I have had the pleasure to be driven by.
