It might not be the pyramids, but it is an absolute must to get a real feel for the history of Cairo as a city and to honestly see stunning medieval Islamic architecture and art. And not in a stuffy, museum-like setting behind the glass - it's a free pedestrian street with the architecture around you so you don't have to worry about paying money to stare at super curated things that you a) don't understand really and b) are kind of boring. One thing we can promise about Moez Street - it's not boring, that's for sure.

Unforgettable 2-day trip with an outstanding guide!
It is already our second trip with Memnon Reisen. This time we booked a two-day excursion including a flight to Cairo and are completely thrilled! A very special thank you goes to our guide Jakob. He was absolutely super nice, extremely competent, and was also able to tell us a lot and explain everything wonderfully. We especially liked that he also showed us additional things outside of the fixed program. We saw an incredible amount: from the Pyramids of Giza to the impressive Step Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, all the way to the modern GEM. The bazaar was also beautiful to see and a great experience! The driver did an incredible job in Cairo traffic! Thank you very much Organizationally, everything was perfect: The hotel was very nice and the food was delicious throughout. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of at all times. An absolute recommendation, we would book this trip with Memnon Reisen and Jakob again anytime!

Everything great!
I booked a 2-day tour to Cairo with Memnon Reisen at the end of September 26. I had some special requests and all were handled to my full satisfaction. Also the overnight stay - we had a great room with a balcony and a direct view of the pyramids and Sphinx. It was a dream. Many thanks also to our Egyptologist Magdy. He told us and showed us a great deal. It was great! Everything was perfect all around. Many thanks to the team at Memnon Reisen - especially to Ahmed and Osman.

2 wonderful days in Cairo
Everything worked out great!! Our driver Emil drove us well and confidently to Cairo and also back to Hurghada. In Cairo, our guide Mr. Adel joined us; we saw everything we wanted to see, and Mr. Adel explained it to us wonderfully, and Emil brought us safely through the dense traffic in Cairo. After the sightseeing on the first day—the Citadel with the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic Quarter, and of course the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx—we were taken to a super nice hotel. Right by the pyramids. It was really beautiful there and is absolutely recommended. After breakfast the next day, the new Egyptian Museum was on the program, and it was really relaxing to walk through it with our guide and see a part of it. There were also 2 lunches included in Cairo, and both restaurants were very delicious. Afterwards, we drove back to Hurghada comfortably with Emil. Thank you Memnon Reisen for this wonderful excursion
