Our Bachelor Party
Nick was very accommodating for our group and even opened up an opportunity to roast the groom in our bachelor party. None in my party did, granted, but the consideration meant a lot! The drinking games were great too! And Sheila’s game can’t be beat!! She was a great sport, too. Thank you all so much!

Don't recommend it
Our tour itself was fantastic—Nick was our captain, and he did a great job. However, the post-tour customer service from the owner, Carl, was incredibly frustrating. I contacted the company multiple times requesting the receipts for my payments and received no response. I only finally received them after I threatened to leave a negative review. When Carl finally sent the receipt, he claimed he had already sent it before, ignoring the fact that he had been sending it to the wrong email address—a mistake I had already pointed out to him multiple times. Instead of apologizing for the typo and the delay, he continues to argue and go back and forth with me about it. Come for the tour guides like Nick, but be prepared for a headache if you need any billing or receipt help from management.
Response from the operator: Hi Rashmi, I am sorry for the issues you had, but I only copy and paste the email that was sent to me. Unfortunately you mistakenly sent me the wrong email. We are glad you enjoyed yourself.

Awesome guide!
Nick was an amazing tour guide. Super fun, engaging and knowledgeable. We did the walking tour in the am and enjoyed it so much we did the byob trolley tour that afternoon!

Loved the trolley trip
It truly is funny! We brought our own seltzers-the bathroom stop in the middle was gr8! Saw alot and did do the steps to see Rocky!!! Tim was an excellent guide❣️
Response from the operator: Haha, sounds like you had an absolute blast! Bring-your-own seltzers and a perfectly timed bathroom break are definitely key to a great tour. We are so glad you got to see so much—and running up the Rocky Steps is a must-do! Tim will be thrilled to hear he made the trip so memorable. Thanks for sharing the love, and we hope to see you on another adventure soon! 🥂🥊

Wonderful Tour
Great mix of humor and history. Tim was very entertaining and informative. Nice mix of driving and stopping. Of course the BYOB is a big plus. Gave us a good sense of what was where. Driver very competent and talented!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review! We're so glad you enjoyed the blend of humor and local history, as well as the balance between driving around and getting out to explore. Tim and our driver will be delighted to know their hard work made your tour informative, entertaining, and smooth. And of course—you can's go wrong with a BYOB tour! We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon! 🥂🚌

Why this scores 87
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Philadelphia.
How much does BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Philadelphia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Philadelphia is not rushed.
Is BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 720 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Philadelphia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia?
+
Around 252 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Philadelphia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Philadelphia and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Philadelphia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Philadelphia?
+
Philadelphia's core is walkable: Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell need timed entry, the mural arts programme runs the largest public art collection in the country, and the Reading Terminal and Italian Market food walks fill the middle of the day. Outty Ranking favours operators who secure Independence Hall tickets rather than sending you to the visitor centre queue. On Outty we rank every Philadelphia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Revolution and the Founders: History Tour of Philadelphia, Dark Philly Adult Night Tour, Philadelphia Old City Historic Walking Tour with 10+ Top Sites. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Philadelphia?
+
April to June and September to October, mild weather and open patios. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Philadelphia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in BYOB Historically Hilarious Trolley Tour of Philadelphia?
+
Included: Local guide; Take a pic in front of the bronze statue dedicated to Philly's native son, Rocky Balboa; and Trolley Tour. Not included: Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

+

+
