Fantastic experience
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and safe buggy trip – highly recommended We had a super good experience from start to finish. The tour began with a thorough instruction from very competent and professional guides, so we felt safe before we drove. The first hour we drove quietly, which gave good opportunity to get used to the buggy. Then the tour went further up the mountains by gravel and stone roads. I was a little worried in advance about the narrow mountain roads and the hills, but it turned out to be no problem at all. We felt safe all the way, and the guides made sure the group was kept together and safely guided through the route. Along the way we made a stop and saw how olive oil was made in the old days and how it is produced today. It was a cozy and interesting exchange before the trip went back. A really nice trip with fantastic views and a fun way to experience the Cretan nature and mountains. If you like me can be a little nervous about the mountain roads in advance, it shouldn’t stop you from going. Super professionally arranged, fun and safe. Definitely recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very nice Trip!
We were picked up right on time in the morning and shared the jeep with another group. The tour was truly wonderful, and there was so much to see! It was all rounded off by a visit to the beach, where we also enjoyed a delicious meal! Towards the end, we drove to an olive factory where—just like at the first one—we could buy souvenirs. It was very, very nice! Especially the driver, Kostas, who drove my mother and me!

Guided tiur on Crete
Great trip with guide. Here you will learn about how you made the olive before and how to make it by day. In addition, you get a taste of olive oil. Heavenly. Me and my 10-year-old daughter had a great time on the trip. Tips. Bring cloth forean mouth and nose. Can get good dusted. Also don't wear the finest clothes when you get pretty dirty.

Fantastic Experience
I booked the Safari online before our holiday easy to book. I got a WhatsApp message the day before to say what time we will be picked up at our hotel. We chose the buggy, we had a small group going out two buggys one quad and our guide Marilou on his quad who was brilliant and really looked after us. We have done several Safaris in different countries but this one is the best we've ever done. We went on and off road and right up in the mountains stopped off at the very top, then at an old mill lovely little village, had time for a coffee there, and then onto a newer mill, We was out on the buggys for four hours absolutely had a brilliant time, would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chania.
How much does Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chania usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chania is not rushed.
Is Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chania, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chania can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chania and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Buggy Safari From Georgioupolis Area start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chania within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chania?
+
On Outty we rank every Chania experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Rethymno Quad Safari, Elafonisi & Falasarna Small Group Tour from Chania w/snacks, Balos & Falassarna Beach - Jeep Tour with Loungers and Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chania?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chania?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
