Three hour trip behind the mountains where we drive down a river bed, climb steep hills and tackle difficult paths. The top of the tour is when we walk down to Reykjadalur natural baths and dip in! Bring your swimming suits towel and walking shoes and be prepared for a 25 min. walk, it´s worth it. The Reykjadalur natural baths is a unique place where we take a bath in a hot river which is totally balanced in heat, done by nature itself. Our 4 seaters, 4×4 ATVs are fully automatic, fully inspected and road legal. They are also bursting with excellent safety and design features, such as the roll cage, safety belts, and double A-arm front suspension. All of which makes for a buggy ride that’s as safe as it is comfortable Shared ride is when two people share one buggy vehicle. Each buggy can take 1-2 up to 4 people at a time. if you book "shared rides" you can be 2, 3 or 4 people in one buggy. Normally 2. Single ride is with only the driver in one buggy vehicle.

Reykjadalur Hot Springs
Driving thought the hillsite east of Reykjavik, before we head to the mountain site, aiming for Hellisheiði, Hengill and Reykjadalur with the steaming hot springs. Great mountain roads with the lava field, moss and endless possibilities of coulours and the experince is so much fun on the buggies. We have carefully choosen the routes where very few are, that makes our tours one of a kind. When arriving on Ölkelduháls we will walk for about 20 min to the gethermal river in Reykjadalur, wich is one of a kind, a steaming hot springs and river where you can bath in and the sourrounding is sheltered with high mountains, what more can we ask for. The driving is about 1 hr 30 min, and the hike from the parking at Ölkelduháls to the river is about 40 min and the time in the river 30 - 50 min.

Fun day (for the most part)!
We really enjoyed the buggy portion of this tour. It was a highlight of our trip! The guide was friendly, the buggies were fun, and we would definitely recommend that part. However, the optional natural baths portion was disappointing due to unclear information. The day was cold, rainy, and windy, and we were already soaked from river crossings. We were told the walk was about 15 minutes, but it was actually a steep, rocky 45-minute hike. Given the weather and that one member of our group had recent knee surgery, we would not have attempted it if we had known. I slipped repeatedly and had to stop halfway, while the rest of the group continued. At the baths, they found there was no truly private place to change, which made everyone uncomfortable, so no one used the baths. The difficult hike back could have been avoided with better information. It would help if guests were clearly told: * The true hiking time and difficulty * The steep, rocky terrain * That changing facilities are very limited With clearer details, guests can make informed decisions. The buggy tour itself was excellent though.

Unforgettable buggy experience through Iceland! We had a breathtaking adventure along dirt roads, crossing streams and diving into the wild landscapes of Iceland. Every moment was exciting, between untouched nature and pure fun. The staff was always kind, knowledgeable and professional, making us feel safe and completely at ease throughout the tour. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover Iceland in an original and adrenaline-pumping way. A perfect activity for those looking for something unique and out of the ordinary!

Love the buggy!
Amazing activity!! If you looking for a short fun activity and in Reykjavik area. I totally recommend it! Great for a short stop over in Iceland and don't want to go so far for an excursion. Meeting point is in Reykjavik but you will have a 1-2 hours to ride the buggy along the Icelandic natures and will lead you to the other town easily! The guide is really nice and knowledgable. We drove so long way, basically the whole 2 hrs. It will worth your penny with great experience, I'm telling you :)
