It was okay
We were staying at Royalton Bavaro and didn’t realized that the pick up was outside of the resort. We almost missed the bus because of it. The excursion overall was okay, I feel we got what we paid for. It was crowded from beginning to end. The buggy ride was fun but there were too many people in a group combined with other groups. The cenote swim was very crowded as well. Basically there was a line of people down the narrow staircase leading into a cave. You dip it, they take a picture, you get out. The tasting was more of a sales pitch for products, it was far from “typical Dominican house” they advertise. Every step of the way is a sales pitch. Even for the ride, they want you to buy bandanas for $5 and goggles for $20. They want you to buy things in a souvenir shop and give you a shopping cart. They take pictures multiple times and want you to buy them. It felt like a giant sales pitch. One nice part of the trip was Macao Beach. I wish we could spend more time there.

Good time
Great fun! Must bring scarf for your mouth, very dusty! Can get super crowded. Don’t expect to drive fast, but do expect horses on the same road.
