Visit the Jewish Buenos Aires with a local Jewish historian who field of expertise is on Jewish Argentinian History. Buenos Aires hosts a Jewish community of 150,000 persons. With this tour you will visit the Jewish area, synagogues, the Jewish Museum, and will learn about the history of Jewish immigration to Argentina, the immigration of the Jewish Holocaust survivors to Argentina, Argentina and the Holocaust, among other subjects. Although we have a car and a driver available all the time, I recommend having a little walk around the Jewish area, so you get the vibe. On Saturdays synagogues and the Jewish Museum are closed to visitors, so it's not possible to access. On Sundays there is a change in the itinerary because The Jewish Museum and Libertad Synagogue are closed, so we replace it with the ND Ateneo, a beautiful library that was built by Max Glücksman, a Jewish immigrant who brought the cinema to the country.

An Outstanding Tour covering the history of the Jewish community of Buenos Aires
This tour was one of the best experiences of our South American trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was excellent at communicating the history of the Jewish Community of Buenos Aires. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was very convenient. Visits to synagogues, the Cathedral with its memorial to the Holocaust,The Israel Embassy square and the memorial at the site of the Jewish community center suicide bombing were very moving. The tour included the Jewish quarter and the Plaza de Mayo.

A Jewel of a Jewish Tour in BA
I feel very lucky to have experiened a walking tour of Buenos Aires with Ariel Raber! He is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide, and within a few hours he shared great insights into both the history and current day experience of Jewish people in Argentina. He was happy to tailor my tour for my personal interests and answer any questions I had! Ariel was born in BA, so he has an insider's perspective, and he speaks perfect English as well which was great since I am from Canada. His genuine interest in sharing Argentina's Jewish heritage shines through! You should not miss this tour, from the synagogue visit, the Jewish museum, the memorial of the bombings, to the Once district and even the kosher McDonalds, you will no doubt be enthralled at every step. An Amazing Day
This was an amazing tour. Ariel was very easy to work with. There were only pleasant surprises. The driver and tour guide met us at the cruise terminal. We spent the entire day with them in comfort. There was so much to see and learn about. By the time we were dropped at the airport, we were all praising this as the best excursion of the entire trip. As a world traveler for over 50 years, I would rank this company among the top two.

Great private Jewish Tour
Our Buenos Aires Jewish tour with Ariel was outstanding. He met our group of four at the hotel and guided us in a comfortable bus for a 3-hour immersive experience. Ariel’s English was excellent, and his earlier communication via WhatsApp was prompt and clear. Ariel impressed us with his deep knowledge of Jewish immigration and history in Argentina. We visited key Jewish sites in Buenos Aires, including the Israeli Embassy, destroyed in the 1992 terrorist attack; the Jewish community center, targeted in the 1994 bombing; the Holocaust Memorial; the Jewish Quarter; and the Jewish Memorial in the Metropolitan Cathedral. Ariel also arranged a free tour at the Libertad Synagogue, led by a historian, which was a delightful bonus. He patiently answered all our questions and provided thoughtful insights into Jewish life in Argentina. Highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring this fascinating aspect of Buenos Aires!

Great tour - Great guide
Great in depth dive into the issues surrounding the sites and stories behind the attacks on the Jewish community here in the early 90's, and how they relate to some of the art in the Jewish museum attached to the synagogue of Buenos Aires - guide spoke English and was very informative

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
