Be curious - so aptly named.
Fascinating. We've done walking tours in many cities around the world, and this was by far the best. Nico is an anthropologist and historian, but this never felt like a scripted history lesson. Quite the opposite. From the outset, it felt like a fascinating, free-flowing conversation. As he got to know us, the things we were interested in and the questions we asked, he adapted the tour accordingly. It was layer upon layer of pertinent information - the history of Buenos Aires and Argentina, its people and communities, its relationships with its neighbours and the wider world, and the stories behind the places we were seeing. Nico is a master storyteller. He doesn’t simply give you facts; he provides the context and the human stories that bring them to life. The name Be Curious in BA could not be more appropriate. This is a tour for curious people. We finished with much of our curiosity satisfied, but over the hours and days that followed we found ourselves discussing what we had learned and pondering even more questions. For me, that’s the real measure of a great tour. It doesn’t just show you a city - it changes the way you think about it. I can’t recommend Nico and Be Curious in BA highly enough.

Excellent Tour
Excellent tour. Our guide, Nicolas was outstanding and shared a variety of information and history that was unique and helped us better understand Argentinian culture. This was one of the most interesting and informative tours we’ve been on, and we have traveled to many countries. Highly recommend tour with Nicolas.

A must take tour
What a brilliant 3 hours spent with Nicolas. His knowledge was excellent on the history of Buenos Aires, the culture, changes to the city and the heritage. The time flew by as we walked around and he shared key moments in time, the influences of Europe, politics on everything from the streets, housing, even through to change of street corners! Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like a walk with a knowledge friend. Learning about the growth of the city, the language and regional dialect, through to immigration, policies on imports and the massacres that took place. I would highly recommend the tour, you will learn so much more than any usual tour guide. I have been on this type of tour around the world and Nicolas is one of the best.
