    Extremely cozy and memorable evening!

We (group of eight friends from Iceland) thoroughly enjoyed this evening! Everything was perfect and well organized by the hosts. The housing was impressive, grand with cozy lighting making everything so lovely and welcoming. The cooking lesson was very pleasant and interesting, giving us a taste of good quality local cuisine and the wine pairing was truly excellent and informative. Very professional and casual at the same time. We loved it and we highly recommend an evening with these lovely hosts.

This is a MUST- do during your time in BA!

The company, food, wine and ambiance were amazing! We also got to learn all about the Asado tradition & share the night with locals! This was a trip highlight for us! Working with Santiago was so easy as well. He was efficient, professional and detail-oriented. Our trip would not have been complete without this very special evening! Thank you so much.

    A true Argentine asado experience

Our family of three which includes our six year old daughter has traveled throughout Argentina various times in recent years. The experience that Authentic Buenos Aires provided us was nothing short of extraordinary. We arrived in the charming residential neighborhood of Palermo where we entered a beautifully restored 100+ year old home. The intimate group of 10 gathered in the main salon with 180 degree views of Palermo. We were greeted with a beautiful glass of espumante from Salentein vineyards and a well curated picada board. After introductions we were escorted to the stunning rooftop terrace with a gorgeous authentic Argentine parrilla. From there, Santi and the asador guide guests through the various cuts of meat we’d be enjoying, sharing insight into each one, how it’s prepared, and why it matters in an Argentine asado. After the picada, we were invited to participate in hands-on beef empanada making, shaping and sealing the empanadas together before they’re baked on the parrilla. Naty, the sommelier, was outstanding! She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the beautiful Argentine wine pairings that complemented each stage of our meal. Santi, our host, truly brought the experience to life with his hospitality and storytelling that made us feel less like guests and more like family. A special and much deserved shoutout to the mollejas. As someone who always passes on them I am glad I listened and didn’t do so this time. Perfectly crispy on the outside and almost creamy on the inside, finished with the most balanced citrus flavor. I cannot stop thinking about them! The team really does an incredible job of going beyond just food. We learned how an asado is the cornerstone of Argentine culture and family life. Thank you to the team for a wonderful evening filled with great company, hospitality and incredible food!

Fantastic Evening with Wonderful Hosts -- the Highlight of our Trip to Buenos Aires

We had a wonderful time at our asado experience with the authentic BA. Booking and pre-event communication were smooth and easy. Santi is a fabulous host and went out of his way to plan a fantastic evening for our family of 6, including making gluten-free accommodations for 2 family members with celiac disease. Leo was a master at the asado and prepared each of the many courses to perfection. Valentina was super friendly and knowledgeable about Argentinian wines and made sure that no one had an empty glass for long. The food was amazing, plentiful and diverse. Valentina expertly paired local wines with each course and provided in depth information about the wines, grapes, vineyards and winemakers. Santi explained the tradition of the asado to Argentine culture and informed us about each course and its preparation. We were even given a crash course in making empanadas and were able to enjoy the fruits of our labor after Leo expertly grilled the empanadas that we made. The location was convenient (Palermo) and in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1910. Our family was joined by a lovely couple from China with whom we enjoyed spending the evening. Retiring to the spacious rootop terrace to enjoy desert (and more wine) around a fire pit was a special way to round out the evening. I wholeheartedly recommend the Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing with the authentic BA. In short, a very special evening with enthusiastic and fun hosts that was high quality and a good value. We will tell all of our friends about our experience and are already looking forward to our next trip to Buenos Aires and our repeat Asado with the authentic BA.

Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing?

    +

Included: Private transportation; Snacks; Lunch; and Alcoholic beverages. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

What languages is Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing offered in?

    +

It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Buenos Aires Asado Experience with Wine Pairing wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
