About this experience

Budva is a coastal city on the Adriatic coast in Montenegro. This city dates back 3,450 years ago and is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic Sea. The area around the city, along the coast, is called the Budva Riviera. The Riviera is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its sandy beaches and night life, the area of hotels and restaurants that separates the beautiful coast from high mountains. The name Old Town, Budva was worn in the Middle Ages, and most of the architecture of this city was of Venetian origin. Doors, windows, balconies and many other parts of the constructions are of Roman style. It kept original form with its narrow streets, squares and stone staircases leading to the elegant houses with small windows framed by hewn frames and red-tiled roofs. Budva has a large number of cultural and historical monuments, monasteries and churches that document the historical and social events in the area of the Budva Riviera. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Flexible & friendly people. Great customer service which is very rare for Montenegro in general. The guide was great spoke slowly cause my mum doesn’t speak english very well & even translated where necessary, then delivered her to the hotel. So i am pleased & would definitely recommend.

Response from the operator: Dear Deniz, Thanks for nice words. It was our guide's pleasure to show your mum great Budva Old Town. We are glad to hear that she enjoyed! Many greetings from Monte Mare Travel Team!

Mind Boggling

Budva is a must see for anyone traveling in the region. Its an "old town" with a wonderful past. The night time entertainment in the city is great too but start your day with a city tour. Its worth the cost and will blow your mind...or just boggle it.

Response from the operator: Dear friends, we agree with you. Budva is a really unique city in the Adriatic, so it is not bizarre that it is called 'Queen of the Adriatic'. It is prestigious center on the tourist map of Europe and the world, so visit to Budva with Monte Mare Travel is unavoidable. We recommend to visit many other places in Montenegro which will leave you breathtaking. Kind regards, Monte Mare Travel Team - Montenegro.

How far in advance should I book Budva City Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Budva can sell out a month out. +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Budva?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
