    Driver No Show

After booking and paying for this service a month in advance, we received a text message 2 hours before our train was to arrive in Budapest confirming we were on the train. Numerous texts were sent back and forth confirming out train number and ETA. When we arrived there was no driver to be found and although we had been sent a description of the driver there was no one anywhere around matching that description. They had our train number and the arrival platforms for all of the trains is posted everywhere in the terminal. There driver was no where to be found. They said to meet him at "line 14". Just in case this was a language issue we checked platform 14 which was no where near where our train came in and still, no driver. We even checked with information to see if there was a "Line 14" for taxis or private drivers and they said no. As no one showed up we finally got in touch again with "Vivien" in the office and she told us to take a taxi and that the company would send us a refund. That was 3 weeks ago and still no refund. We are extremely experienced travelers and have never had any issues like this with other private drivers. We arrived on the train that we had booked the reservation for and their driver was no where to be found. We did not cancel with in 24 hours, they did not fulfill their obligation and should be refunding our money.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking time to write a review about our services. However you did not use our private car transfer service from Prague to Budapest with Bratislava stop. All the best, take care!

How much does Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop cost?

    +

How long does Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop take?

Is Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Budapest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Budapest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Budapest and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Budapest Private Transfer from or to Prague with optional Bratislava stop start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Budapest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Budapest?

    +

On Outty we rank every Budapest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Budapest City Landmarks Walking Tour in 2 Hours, Countryside Half-day Gastro-Wine Tour from Budapest Meal & pickup, Budapest free walking tour: Parliament and Shoes Memorial. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Budapest?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Budapest?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
