You'll learn about goulash communism, bite into deep-fried lángos, sip on fizzy grape must, and wander through hidden passages. Amazing and delicious kickoff to my Budapest visit!
I took this food tour on my first day in Budapest. This was my second tour with Eating Europe, and once again, I loved the experience, this time with Blanka as our tour guide! Our total group size was four guests, and it was clear that we were all like-minded: interested in the food, history, and culture of this new city we were in. The tour was incredibly informative, and I loved the variety of foods we were able to sample. I particularly loved the lángos and the goulash that we sampled! I finished the tour very sated, and I spent the next day visiting many of the places that Blanka recommended. I cannot recommend this tour enough to anyone visiting Budapest, whether it’s their first or hundredth time!

Food walk fun
The tour was a fun walk through foods of Budapest and each stop was tasty I found it that the tour was new, but you couldn't tell with the engaging and knowledgeable hosts Crowd size was small which meant more indepth discussion with the guides They take you to a few non food stops as well as they show you around and explore some history

Budapest history and food
An information tour blend of Hungarian history and local foods. “Burrercup” was knowledgeable and entertaining. Food selection was broadly based, from soups, dips, breads and desserts.
