Highly Recommend This Walking Food Tour!!!
Senna really did a wonderful job putting together and leading us through this tour. He was quite knowledgeable about the food, the area, and the history. He followed up on the questionnaire that we had submitted prior to the tour to ensure that both the foods that we tried and the places that we went would be suitable for my husband and his food allergies. We felt that he truly listened to our request in order to give us what we were looking for, which was really a taste of Brussels through their food on this walking tour. He avoided the tour straps and even fit in an attraction that I’d ask him about, but he hadn’t intended to have on our tour. (she pointed us in the direction of the other two attractions that were nearby as well.) We went where we had two traditional types of sausage and accompanying sauces, a fry place for us to try the potato fries, a bar that had many types of beer and Senna put some thought into the different options for us to try versus just bringing us anything, well done! We tried authentic Belgian waffles done two ways, one had ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce, and one had cherries and chocolate sauce, very tasty. The last two stops had us trying gourmet chocolate from a second generation Belgian chocolatier and stopping in a store where we sampled a very rich chocolate mousse. We wish we had more time in Brussels with Senna by our side to show us more!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled how much you enjoyed your food tour in Brussels with Senna. It’s wonderful to know he took such great care in tailoring the experience to your preferences and dietary needs, all while sharing the city’s rich culinary heritage. We’d love to welcome you again in the future for more delicious discoveries.

A Culinary Adventure Through Brussels with Greg
Today, I had the pleasure of joining Greg’s food tour in Brussels, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, Greg’s deep knowledge of Belgian cuisine, local history, and hidden gems made this experience truly unforgettable. The selection of stops was fantastic—each place offering an authentic taste of Brussels! What stood out most was Greg’s warm and welcoming nature. He made sure we felt comfortable, answered every question. Highly recommended—Greg’s food tour is the perfect way to taste, learn, and enjoy the very best of Brussels!

The tour guide Paola was...
The tour guide Paola was very nice but this was not a food tour. Over the course of 3 hours we ate an assortment of cheese, three pieces of chocolate, one craft beer and were offered another drink. We paid $187 usd per person for a food tour. Paola did show us around the center of Belgium and spoke about the history, yet, we did not eat anything. It was incredibly odd, Paola, asked us twice if we had dinner plans. This was not what we expected. I cannot in good consciousness recommend this tour to anyone. It was not an efficient use of my time or money.
Response from the operator: Hello Patricia, We're very sorry the experience didn’t reflect your expectations, especially regarding the amount and variety of food provided. This isn't the standard we stand by, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We reached out to you directly via email, and we hope you'll be able to give us another chance by booking with us in the future. Your feedback is being taken seriously as we review how we deliver and manage our food experiences. If you need any more help, don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly customer service team. Thanks for understanding, and we can't wait to serve you better next time! Warm regards, Sheenah and the City Unscripted Team

Booking this tour will make your trip less stressful
This food tour is a great way to experience Brussels through the food. Our guide, Asefeh, took us to the best places and told us which one to pass on. Are you the type that gets stressed out picking places to eat? If so, these guides will make sure you don’t fall for the tourist traps. Seating is always limited so it’s always a good idea to hold down a table while your guide takes care of the rest. Asefeh also gave us great information about the city and the historical facts about things we passed. 10 out of 10!
Response from the operator: I can imagine how much easier it is with a guide taking care of everything. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Amazing tour!!
Bruno was our guide for a private tour for my family of 5 including my 6 y/o daughter and he was amazing!!! he contacted me several days prior to tour to ask about our food likes/dislikes which was great since several members do not like seafood, then customized the stops accordingly…… we had so many delicious authentic Belgium foods and beers, even my daughter loved it!!!! He was so knowledgeable as we walked, we learned so much about history of Brussels. Would definitely recommend this tour highly!!!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.
How much does Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $241 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.
Is Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Brussels Food Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brussels?
+
On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brussels?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brussels?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
