    It was interesting to...

It was interesting to hear the history and ghostly tales but overpriced for the overall experience. You do not get to go inside any of the “haunted” buildings, it is just stories told from the sidewalk. It was still fun but not worth the investment.

Response from the operator: I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your tour. Unfortunately there has been no access to buildings since Covid changed the way the tour ran. Interestingly I just returned from Savannah, GA and Charleston NC and St. Augustine, FL, three of the most haunted cities in the US. My tours also did NOT enter any buildings.

    Breckinridge Ghost Tours

Gail gave a very interesting and informative Ghost Tour-our children were very involved and enthralled-ages 11 and 7. The adults learned a lot of great history. We do Ghost Tours everywhere we go and this was 1 of the best because Gail brought it to life in each location. Kudos!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind comments! I really enjoy taking families on the tour when the children are so engaged in the stories :)

    Great guide and stories...

Great guide and stories with history included. Easy walk for everyone that was in our group. Our guide was really into it.

Response from the operator: So glad to hear you had an enjoyable evening and yes, I do love taking guests on my tours !!

Breckenridge Tea Tour a must do

The hour long historical tour was great. Gail, our docent, stayed in her character as a 1910 woman living in Breckenridge and shared gossip of its residents. The tea afterwards was enjoyable where Gail continued to entertain our group with information and pictures of that period. I heartedly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed my living history English Tea Tour. I really love taking guests on tours of our fascinating town!

    Not the best tour

I think the guide, Wanda was great, so the 3 stars doesn't reflect on her. As someone who does a lot of walking city tours and has done night ghost tours in other cities, Breckenridge was a disappointment, The stops were very few and it was just a lot of standing around listening to a story and the stories honestly weren't amazing either. We were disappointed and bored with this tour unfortunately.

Response from the operator: So sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your tour and that you found the fascinating history of Breckenridge gold mining and its disasters 'boring'. Having done these tours for 16 years I can honestly say that I hardly ever experience a guest who finds our colourful stories inadequate.

Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Breckenridge.

How much does Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Breckenridge usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales take?

    +

Plan for about 1.7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Breckenridge is not rushed.

Is Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 238 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Breckenridge, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales?

    +

Around 83 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Breckenridge can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Breckenridge and add a light layer if any part of the 1.7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Breckenridge Tours - Ghostly Tales start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Breckenridge within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Breckenridge?

    +

Breckenridge sells lift tickets and ski or snowboard lessons in winter, then switches to rafting, jeep tours over Boreas Pass, gold mine visits and alpine hikes in summer. On Outty we rank every Breckenridge experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Island Kayak Tour Experience in Frisco, Half-Day Upper Colorado River Float Tour from Kremmling, Upper Colorado River Half-Day Float Trip near Kremmling. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Breckenridge?

    +

December to March for snow, June to September for alpine trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Breckenridge?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
