What you'll see and do
Ulun Danu Bratan
Ulun Danu Temple at Beratan is the most photographed temple on the island and is one of the iconic images of Bali. The temple sits on the western shore of Lake Beratan therefore giving the illusion of floating on the water. Built in 1633, the temple is devoted to Dewi Danu, goddess of the lake. In the other side, Ulun Danu is one of the beautiful place to watch the sunrise in Bali. It feels utterly surreal seeing the temple emerging from the morning mist, with the glistening quiet lake and lush green mountains towering on the background. In addition, hiring a paddle boat is also a good option to take in all the dreamlike landscape. It is such a beautiful temple in a truly stunning setting.

It’s fresh cool and clean, perfectly safe to swim in. Bathe in tranquility, listen to the thunderous roar of cascading waters and take in the sights of the vibrant greenery. Jatiluwih Green Land
Jatiluwih rice terraces are the biggest and most picturesque rice paddies in Bali and potentially all of Indonesia. The vast expanses of terraced, green rice paddies are stepped along an entire mountain, from its peak to where its foot meets the sea. The view from the mountain village takes in the whole of southern Bali. It named a UNESCO Cultural Landscape. The landscapes around the Jatiluwih Unesco Cultural Site are both dramatic and exotic. The temperature is much cooler and it is the perfect place to get away from Bali’s hot and crowded south. This amazing place covers over 600 hectares of incredibly well-maintained rice terraces that date back as early as the 9th century. You will get to experience the local farmers at work in the fields which makes for great photo opportunities when wandering around this UNESCO Cultural Site. The fields that make up this area have adopted the traditional Subak irrigation system. It is a method that has been preserved for centuries and passed down from generation to generation. Perched on a high terraced slope, Jatiluwih deserves its name – Truly Marvelous.

A lot of fun
We were picked up from our resort promptly at 8 a.m. by our driver and guide Wayan. Our first stop was the Banyumala Twin Falls. Highly recommended! Few tourists and a beautiful view of several waterfalls. Afterwards we went to the Ulun Danu Bratan temple and the Jatiluwih rice terraces. The last stop was the Tanah Lot temple. A wonderful place to relax right by the sea. We laughed a lot with Wayan and had a lot of fun. He explained a lot about Balinese culture and was always willing to listen to our questions. We can highly recommend this tour!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot cost?
+
Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bratan Temple, Banyumala Twin Waterfall, Jatiluwih Rice terrace and Tanah Lot start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ️ Nusa Penida Instagram Tour: The Most Famous Spots (Private All-Inclusive), Nusa Penida Premium Day from Bali: Manta Rays, Yacht & Land Tour, Private Full-Day Tour: Discover The Best of Bali Destination. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
