    About this experience

See Branson’s magical, electrical, celebration of the holidays like a VIP from one of our luxury coaches.  Our lights tour is  limited to 14 passengers, so you’ll get an upscale, personal, experience from our guide. Your itinerary includes riding through two of Branson’s most eye-popping lighting displays. We kick things off by driving to see the beautiful Chateau on the Lake, to see their awesome display of Gingerbread Houses, and their beautiful atrium lobby...with a stream that actually has fish in it! Wow! When time allows, we will include other local lights, such as the Historic Downing Street in Hollister, MO. After the first Sunday in December we will also be able to see the Historic Nativity scene on Mount Branson. Tour length depends on traffic in the drive thru displays. Typically this tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

    Great experience

Our driver did a great job! The lights were amazing! We enjoyed the experience! There were a lot of lights to see. Our driver was very knowledgeable!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the 5 Star review.

    Great guide

The guide and receptionist were great. The light show at Big Cedar was impressive but the other stops were not. Again if it wasn’t for the guide this would have been a one or two star

Response from the operator: Thank you for touring with us and for the review. It sound like WE did good, as far as the human aspect of the tour is concerned. Our meet and greet staff and our drivers and tour guides as well as our luxury vehicles is really all we can be personally responsible for. The lights at Big Cedar Lodge are wonderful. The light displays at "Lights of Joy" are really the highest quality and quantity of all the drive thru displays in Branson, but obviously they are not everyone's favorite. The visit to Chateau on the Lake is a bonus that almost everyone that tours with us really enjoy.

    Branson Christmas lights

Michael was great, and the lights were incredible. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I understand why this is one of the top destinations in the nation for Christmas lights.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the 5 Star review! I love that you mention that Branson is one of the top destinations in the nation for Christmas lights. I'm always amazed at how one person thinks the light displays are awesome and they love them, and others seeing the very same displays, don't particularly care for them. Same displays, different people. I'll never figure it out. But thank you again for the great review!

    Great tour of Christmas lights.

Michael did an excellent job driving and narrating our trip. He took us to several areas in and around Branson. Many beautiful light displays!! We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Response from the operator: We are so glad you all had such a great time. Thank you for the 5 Star review. Thank you for mentioning Michael (Mikey as I call him!).

Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Branson.

How much does Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Branson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Branson is not rushed.

Is Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 101 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Branson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour?

    +

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Branson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Branson and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Branson VIP Christmas Light Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Branson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Branson?

    +

Branson is show country: theatre productions, dinner cruises on Table Rock Lake, Silver Dollar City, Ozark cave tours and duck boat alternatives on the water. Show tickets vary in seating tier, so we weight listings that spell it out. On Outty we rank every Branson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Haygoods: Branson's Most Popular Show, The Petersens at The Little Opry Theatre in Branson, Branson Murder Mystery- Branson's Original #1 Murder Mystery. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Branson?

    +

April to June and September to December for the Christmas season. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Branson?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
