A great food tour!
Our guide Ioannis was very knowledgable about food, the city, and places that have good food. He was friendly, caring, and helpful. We enjoyed the tour a lot.

Fabulous food tour

Culinary Backstreets never disappoints
I am never disappointed by Culinary Backstreets. Ioannis was an excellent guide. The food was delicious. And we received some great recommendations for meals later in our stay in Thessaloniki.

Great experience
The trip was a perfect length with lots of short stops and longer sits in restaurants along the way. It was really interesting to try different foods. The bougatsa was so incredible and 4 different options to try; meat, cheese, spinach and sweet versions. There was only 4 on the trip and it worked really well, we saw lots of bigger groups 15+ but there is no comparison to the culinary backstreets more intimate tours. Good price for the experience.

Our FAV memory!
We knew we had chosen the best food tour during our first merchant visit! Our guide (Dora) was the perfect balance of friendly and informative, without being overbearing... and her knowledge of the cuisine and relationships with the independent merchants was obvious throughout the tour. In the end, this food tour was our favorite memory of our time in Thessaloniki, and one of our best memories of Greece. Thank you Dora!
