You get what you pay for !!

First off, No water is included and be prepared to buy goggles and a dust mask as they say it’s a requirement to have (I had sunglasses & a dust mask so we didn’t need to buy). The buggies are junk, the lower ball joint on mine was being held on by a thread and made steering so much fun. You will get covered in mud, so be prepared (but you wash off in the ocean at macco beach, then if you choose the cenote, then shower back at the start). The beach was great, just keep saying no to the hucksters and enjoy the calm waters. The cenote was very small (like pool sized) and had local kids jumping from the rocks, so it definitely felt unsafe. You have to jump in from the steps, and climb up a rock to get out. I guess you can say you get what you pay for with this tour, we paid 35.00 each and now I know why it was so cheap.

    FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

well for one they Lied about being at our pickup location at 8am we were there at 730am then i received a message from the tour guide saying they will pick us up at 11am they came at 1130am then when we got to the destination there was not Polaris the said they would have to give us 2 ATV's that was a RED FLAG for me FALSE advertisement then our guide said that they was going to give us our pictures for free since they didn't have what we paid for then our beach time was cut short it was supposed to me 15mins it was 5mins!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY SILKY SANDS... the only thing was the guys who took us on our ride was great very helpful and friendly.

    Buyer beware

Don’t be deceived by the pics this company does not offer the Polaris ATV as pictured. The owner will try to make u pay twice especially if you are American. Our buggy didn’t break down but others in our group certainly did and multiple times. The staff and tour guides were the highlight of this experience. We didn’t go to the beach because we were told there was a lot of debris from the rain storm. Book at your own risk!

    Amazing boogie experience

The private guided tour was amazing. We had a great time. They communicated with us, and every single stop we’ve made, and the arrangements was super professional and organize from pick up in the hotel to the drop off in the afternoon. I highly recommend the tour for anyone who wants to have some fun!

    Awesome!

The buggies are a must!!! So much fun. We opted for the private tour which was better in my opinion. With the private tour you can stay at each location as long as you’d like. Highly recommend getting the Polaris, they were faster and much more fun to drive.

Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Boogies & Polaris - Explore Punta Cana in a Buggy start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
