A lot to see! Our guide told us he would stay with us as long as we wanted to tour with him. He was very knowledgeable and personalized his presentation and shared anecdotal and historical information with us. We had a very enjoyable experience with Jean-Patrick!

    Great Day Out!

My partner and I had a lovely tour of Bonaventure Cemetery with our guide, Jean-Patrick Nova. He gave us great directions to find the parking lot (which would have been confusing otherwise). The tour was both informational and conversational and Jean-Patrick really made it special and tailored to the group.

Response from the operator: Hello Maggie, thank you for your ghostly great feedback! We’re so glad you and your partner enjoyed your tour of Bonaventure Cemetery with Jean-Patrick Nova. It’s wonderful to hear his guidance, storytelling, and personalized approach made the experience special and easy to navigate. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again for another spooky adventure!

    The guide was very...

The guide was very knowledgeable but we spent close to a half hour on the first two gravesites we came to. As big as the cemetery is we asked the guide if we could move along there is a lot to see and at that pace we’d only have time to see a few more. The guide did say okay I’ll pick up the pace. We at one point with the size and scope of the cemetery thought about going out on our own. It was a great tour and full of history and his knowledge of the sculpture was great. We ran into a few other guides and felt that we missed a lot of the cemetery

Response from the operator: Hi Joe, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the guide knowledgeable and enjoyed learning about the cemetery’s history and sculptures. We’re sorry to hear the pacing of the tour did not fully meet your expectations and that you felt you may have missed some areas of the cemetery. We appreciate your comments, as they help us improve the overall guest experience. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to see you again on another tour in the future.

Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.

How much does Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.

Is Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 2.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bonaventure Cemetery History Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Savannah?

    +

Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Savannah?

    +

March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Savannah?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
