Beautiful place! <3
Excellent experience! Bon Echo is a beautiful place, the mix between forest and lake make it ideal to contemplate and relax. First time sailing in Canoe and loved it! I would definitely repeat it! Javier is a tremendous guide, with a lot of knowledge about the history of the place, very friendly and always willing to take pictures. I liked that it gave us some free time to enjoy on the beach or tour the place. Fully recommended!

Wonderful day trip into nature!
Javier is a very knowledgeable and kind guide. It was difficult to find a day trip into nature from Toronto and this tour exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend taking a trip with Toronto eco tours to explore a bit of nature!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that your experience with us exceeded your expectations. Finding a nature escape near Toronto can indeed be challenging, and I'm so glad you found our tour to be a fulfilling experience. Your kind words about my knowledge and guidance mean a lot to me and the entire team at Toronto Eco Adventures. It's incredibly gratifying to know that I could contribute to making your trip enjoyable. Your recommendation is the highest compliment we could receive and will undoubtedly help others seeking a natural retreat from the city. I look forward to the opportunity of guiding you on another adventure soon. Best regards, Javier

New cultures and sports🤙
This one day trip was super exciting! Xavier tought us how to canoe, we saw ancient drawings of the natives on the side of the mountain, and had a beautiful view of the lake from a hidden viewpoint. Then we relaxed on the beach all together. I met very nice people on the tour, from all different countries...if you visit Toronto you can't miss this one day adventure!! 🙏😍
Response from the operator: It was very nice to meet you Claudia! Thanks for your kind words

Excellent outdoor experience with Toronto EcoAdventures, first time joining and I am looking forward for my next trip which I’ve already book since they do sell very quickly. I fully recommend it, canoeing was fun , hiking to the perfect view from above was just breathtaking…Javier was an awesome and cool guide! Thank you!

OMG this was seriously amazing!
I really enjoyed the trip! It was a perfect combination of active and relaxing. The views were spectacular! It’s hard to believe that such a beautiful place exists and so close to Toronto. I was excited to learn canoeing. I was nervous initially but it was not hard at all! We also went hiking up the hill and looked at the lake from the top. I loved Xavier’s ‘secret spot’ that had the most amazing view down! We also have the best images from the trip as Xavier is a master photo and videographer! Haha I learned a bunch of tips on how to take awesome pictures. Great experience! Will surely come again and again!
Response from the operator: You did amazing in the canoe and it was a pleasure to meet you! hope to have you on many more tours!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Toronto.
How much does Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $164 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Toronto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Toronto is not rushed.
Is Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Toronto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Toronto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Toronto and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Toronto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Toronto?
+
On Outty we rank every Toronto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Niagara Falls Tour from Toronto: Boat Ride & Journey Behind Falls, Niagara Falls Canada Day Tour From Toronto + Boat Cruise Option, Niagara Falls Day Tour from Toronto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Toronto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Toronto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure?
+
Included: Canoe lesson; Park admission; Bottled water; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Canoe rental. Not included: Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure?
+
Our minivan will be waiting for you at 6:45 am in front of the Tim Hortons beside Christie station Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Bon Echo Canoeing & Swimming Adventure?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

+
