DR FUN the best guide to feel as local

We had a blast. DR FUN aka Delton was the best tour guide ever!! We did this attraction as our second day with Dr Fun, and was as good as the first one (Blue Hole Experience). He was very kind and explained everything about Bob and Rastafari culture before arriving to the mausoleum, so as to be prepared. On our way to back to MoBay, he gave us to tried different fruits and Jamaican food (Bulla) which was very tasty. We highly recommend to book with him, you won't regret.

Response from the operator: Local experience is the best way to truly enjoy Jamaica and with Dr.Fun Tours you are guaranteed a great time. It was my pleasure sharing our Jamaican hospitality and tropical fruits. Thanks for your business and the time you have spend writing this review, I appreciate you.

    Bless Up

I highly recommend Dr. Fun Tours! Everything went very smoothly for my family of 26, and Dr. Fun (aka Delton) stayed at every excursion with us. Delton will also go above and beyond to meet you and your family needs. While traveling to our excursions Dr. Fun makes the ride fun by sharing all his knowledge about the mountainous island of Jamaica (I felt like I was on the "History of Jamaica" tour every time I got into his van), and the wonderful riddles. "Riddle me this, Riddle me that" My family had so much fun trying to guess the riddles. Dr.Fun (aka Delton) is very patient, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. It was truly a delight to have him as our tour guide. We couldn't have asked for a better tour service. Thank you so much Dr. Fun/Delton (my brother in Christ) for all the extra (above and beyond) things you did for my family, and keeping the van very clean, and the cold bottles of water after every excursion, and the fresh mango 🥭 😋

Response from the operator: We definitely can accommodate any size group and a group of 26 wonderful people makes it an awesome experience. Thanks for using Dr.Fun Tours during your trip to our beautiful Island Jamaica, I’m happy everyone enjoyed the Jamaican hospitality, history, safe traveling, Riddles and the tasty mangoes. It was my pleasure to be at your service, we appreciate your business and I’m elated for your five star review, thanks for taking the time out I really appreciate it.

Over priced for what it was!

I felt like the whole purpose of the tour was to ensure that you left with an empty wallet. There were chances to buy things and tip for things that you didn't want. I thought that the $35 tour guide fee was a little steep, then there was the chance to buy a Bob Marley special drink for $10 followed by a candle to light in the mausoleum for a few more dollars. Then there was a "band" which played a Bob Marley song which was expected to be tipped. At the end, the guide (who, to be fair was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic) also expected a tip. I came away feeling that I had been fleeced!

    Unforgettable day with Delton!

We had an absolutely amazing time with Delton at Dr. Fun Tours in Ocho Rios, Jamaica! Delton is an incredibly kind, professional, and respectful person who truly made our trip to Nine Miles unforgettable. On the way to Nine Miles, he shared so much about the history of Jamaica, pointed out various communities, and explained fascinating aspects of Jamaican culture and local fruits. Once we arrived, he took the time to give us more insights and made sure we had an incredible experience. On the way back, Delton went above and beyond by taking a different route through the mountains. This allowed us to see even more beautiful scenery, learn about additional communities, and even meet some Rastafari. The views were breathtaking, and it felt like a completely personalized tour. We were also hungry during the trip, and Delton kindly took us to a wonderful spot in the mountains where we enjoyed some delicious food. He further also took us to a local food market so that we could buy some fresh fruits and vegetables. We cannot recommend Dr. Fun Tours enough! If you’re considering booking a tour, don’t hesitate—Delton will make it an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Delton, for your kindness and for such a memorable trip. All the best to you and your family! Best, Maria and Nico

Response from the operator: Unforgettable it was! An experience off the beaten path and the real Jamaica away from the beaches and resort. My way for saying thank you for booking with Dr.Fun Tours, it was truly my pleasure to share our beautiful Island Jamaica, the people, culture, food and history. Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks for the five star rating I appreciate it.

    The drive up into the...

The drive up into the village was very sightful and interesting. It's a long bumpy ride buy seeing the deep countryside was amazing. Our TOUR GUIDE DR. FUN TOURS WAS AN EXTRA ADDED HIGHLIGHT OF THE EXPERIENCE

Response from the operator: There are beautiful beaches, luxury hotels, good food and the reggae music are all available for an awesome Jamaican experience. However the countryside, scenery, the locals and culture is the true side of Jamaica. Thanks for coming to our beautiful Island, thanks for your business and we are grateful for the five star rating.

Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ocho Rios.

How much does Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ocho Rios usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ocho Rios is not rushed.

Is Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ocho Rios, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ocho Rios can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ocho Rios and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bob Marley Mausoleum Tour from Ocho Rios start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ocho Rios within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ocho Rios?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ocho Rios experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Hole only-from Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Tour, Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls Tour with Lunch and Cocktails at Reggae Hill. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ocho Rios?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ocho Rios?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
