    About this experience

A tour dedicated to the sea, fun and relaxation! to switch off and enjoy a day of total relaxation, forgetting crowded and noisy beaches, road traffic and parking problems. You will be able to familiarize yourself with the sailing boat, which is not just a means of transport, but a real philosophy of life! A welcome drink to be enjoyed on the deck, while the sun caresses our face, chat, joy and we are ready for the first dive. During the sail we could admire Vietri, Cetara, Capo d’Orso, Erchie. Maiori, Minori, Atrani up to Amalfi. Beautiful, deep blue waters, steep cliffs, glimpses of paradise. We will make some stops along the way to swim, to photograph the panorama and to refresh ourselves with a light lunch on board. When we return with the wind on our side we open the sails and we will hear the breath of the wind and the sea.

    Fantastic day oit

Absolutely fantastic experience! Rosa and Charlie were the best hosts ever. The meeting point was very easy to find, really convenient for those who travel by car there as it is just above a parking station. It is a 5 min walk to the boat and then sail away. The whole trip was around 7 hours with 1.5 hours of free time to explore Amalfi town. Stopped 3 times to cool down and have a swim in really beautiful places. Rosa was a great guide providing info about everything along the way and made us a great lunch...pasta with pesto and tomato sauce....with all of the ingredients from Charlie's garden ( backed up with picture proof of the garden and tomatoes ) Prosseco, snaks and ice cold water along the cruise too. Great value for money and something everyone that loves the sea and beautiful landscapes needs to try.

Don’t look for other adventures, choose this.

Best adventure you could go on. They were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of on every step of the way. Very communicative and even picked us up and dropped us off at the terminal. I couldn’t say enough about how amazing it was. We swam 3 times and it was plenty of time to relax. Next time I come back we will definitely be doing this again.

Operator cancelled on us with a 3 day notice

This operator cancelled our tour 3 days prior. We booked this tour months in advance thru Viator and this is the one our family was most excited about. I had been in communication with the operator throughout about start and end times and pickup locations and all was fine until 3 days prior while we were already in Europe that they were canceling our tour due to an overbooking. How is that even possible, this close to the tour date? They referred us to a different company and promised that “Your itinerary, service, and overall experience will remain unchanged, and we will personally coordinate everything to ensure a smooth and seamless experience. “ It was not seamless - it took hours of me scrambling to reserve another tour which took away from my current plans. The new tour was more money and did not include the same things that were on our original tour. I had to scramble to find at least 3 more people to have a full tour 24hrs before or they would also cancel. Thankfully I was able to find another family thru the Facebook group for the cruise we were on and we had a wonderful experience with the new tour operator. That does not take away the hours wasted, the additional money spent and the stress this caused.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that your experience did not begin as either you or we had hoped. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to receive a cancellation notice just a few days before your tour, especially after booking months in advance and while already travelling in Europe. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and stress this caused. As soon as we realized we would be unable to operate your tour as planned, our priority was to find the best possible alternative rather than leave you without the opportunity to experience the Amalfi Coast. We therefore arranged for one of our trusted local partners to welcome you, with the intention of providing an experience as close as possible to the one you had originally booked. We are genuinely sorry to learn that the alternative did not fully meet your expectations and that you had to spend valuable time reorganizing your plans. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our operations and communication. We are pleased to know that, despite the difficult start, you were ultimately able to enjoy your day on the Amalfi Coast. We wish you all the very best in your future travels and thank you again for sharing your experience. Kind regards, Rosa Mareggiando team

Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 191 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif?

    +

Around 67 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast with Aperitif start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
