Bad
The guide is nice and friendly and highly responsive. The tour however is such a drag. It is a large boat with 25+ people it moves so slow that almost everyone fell asleep on the boat. The music is horrible and there is no liveliness on the tour. The guide himself is on the phone. There’s too many stops jam packed and you need to worry about not missing the boat instead of actually enjoying. They don’t do a head count and you will be left stranded if you miss the boat. They don’t stop in the middle for the people to jump off and enjoy even though the pictures imply that. It’s highly misleading. Apart from the ploce beach I wouldn’t recommend any other. Overall, really bad experience. Out of the 9 hours only 4-5 were spent on the beach with just slow travelling for the rest. Would not recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. On the day of your tour, our boat was fully booked, so with your approval, we arranged for you to join a boat operated by one of our colleagues instead. Unfortunately, that boat is significantly smaller and slower than the SOFI boat shown and advertised on our TripAdvisor listing, which clearly affected your overall experience. We are very sorry that you had a negative experience with our colleague’s tour. Our intention was to accommodate you so that you wouldn’t miss the excursion altogether, but unfortunately, our attempt to help resulted in disappointment instead. We sincerely apologize. If you visit Montenegro again next year, please contact us directly. We would be happy to offer you a discount and make sure you experience the tour aboard our own SOFI boat.

Scammers
These are scammers, they take tou to a couple of dirty, litter covered beaches and then leave you stranded at the end
Response from the operator: This is a lie. You never sailed with us.

Perfect option for excursion during your stay in Bar/Sutomore or close range places
I’ve been travelling with Sofi last summer and honestly i can say that service and organization, leaving and coming exactly on time, comfort and flexibility were extraordinary. Not even to mention how street bookers and Aleksandar (organizator) were super helpful while booking the tour. I highly recommending Sofi for your next vacation tour, you will not regret it. PS. Place called Ploce, for the party people, yayy, speachlesly great!! Cant wait to come again in 2025 😎

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Boat Tour in Montenegro: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Budva.
How much does Boat Tour in Montenegro cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Budva usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Boat Tour in Montenegro take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Budva is not rushed.
Is Boat Tour in Montenegro worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Budva, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Boat Tour in Montenegro?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Boat Tour in Montenegro suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Boat Tour in Montenegro?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Budva can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Budva and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Boat Tour in Montenegro start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Budva within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Budva?
+
On Outty we rank every Budva experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Great Montenegro Tour-Lovcen NP,Mausoleum Lovcen,River of Crnojevic,Sveti Stefan, Budva Bay: Kayak & SUP Tour to Coastal Caves, North Montenegro, Durmitor, Tara & Ostrog Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Budva?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Budva?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
