Sea, Sun and pure magic. Unforgettable experience on the water.
Absolutely the BEST boat tour in Jamaica! Crystal clear water, amazing crew, and the vibes were unmatched. We snorkeled, saw dolphins, and danced to reggae the whole time. The food was delicious not to mention the views of the coast? Breathtaking. From the moment we boarded, the crew made us feel like family. If you come to Jamaica and don’t do this, you’re missing out! Big up to the captain and crew for making it unforgettable ❤️ 5/5 Stars - Must Do Again.

Island picnic to booby cay more like booby trap.
We booked the catamaran day trip to booby cay. We stopped off at an area to snorkel which had some pretty fish and an interesting old ship wrecked cannon. They then took us to booby cay for our lobster island picnic. The island was very very disappointing. It was nothing more than a run down trash heap where they sit you on benches to eat. There’s nothing else to do on the island. The water is rocky so you can’t even swim. There are no beach chairs with which to sit on. There’s broken down structures decaying where you eat. There’s trash everywhere. The lobster lunch was ok. We were offered coconuts to drink out of and mangos not realizing it was NOT included in the cost of the lunch. $10 for a coconut! I would recommend just going to non- island catamaran tours along the cliffs instead.
Response from the operator: I think you're writing the review for the wrong company and didn't even have a tour in December.. Look for the person that you did the tour with and write that review please

I did this excursion for my birthday and I had a great time. After booking with M&M Glass Bottom Boat I told them it’s my birthday and I want to have a whole vibe and they ensure i did. The boat was decor with balloons there was music and refreshment was given to us during out tour. How can I forget the food we had after going to the Booby Cay Island it was irie and tasty. Everyone was friendly and professional, I will definitely book with M&M Glass Bottom again 🙌🏽💯

All around a good experience.
I loved the tour! The guides were very accommodating and friendly, offering drinks whenever you want. I've been snorkeling a good bit and they just let me do my thing, which I appreciated. One of the other tourists on the boat couldn't really swim and had no experience, I saw them help her with everything and made her very comfortable and she had a good time. The lunch on the island was also great, tasted really good and good portions! All in all, I would recommend.

I must say the experience was a exploring one not to mention the queen treatment I received from the professional staff royalty on the waves. Worth every penny spend. My crew loved the tours offered!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Boat tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Negril.
How much does Boat tour cost?
+
Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Negril usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Boat tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Negril is not rushed.
Is Boat tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Negril, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Boat tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Boat tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Boat tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Negril can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Negril and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Boat tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Negril within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Negril?
+
On Outty we rank every Negril experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Transportation and Tour from Montego Bay to Blue Hole/Secret Falls, Negril Glass Bottom Boat Tour Snorkeling and Booby Cay, ATV, Bamboo Rafting and Negril Ricks Cafe from Montego Bay. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Negril?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Negril?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
